When I entered the lobby, Angel Coco greeted me warmly and kindly, and helped me to guide the elevator. The concierge took my luggage enthusiastically. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were very complete. The shower and toilet were separated into wet and dry areas, which was very good. The toiletries were also very useful. It was very fast to blow dry my hair. The air conditioning was very effective. Lanzhou has cooled down recently, and the room was very warm. The room card was also very beautiful. I felt very comfortable overall. The hotel is easy to find, the logo is very conspicuous, and it is convenient to travel. It is next to Wanda Plaza and the snack street, which is very convenient.

The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

Hotel location is the best value for money. Walking distance from the Yellow River Steel Bridge and Xiguan Mosque. Metro station entrance is right in front of the hotel. The front-desk guy was friendly and they provided us with extra water bottles. However the standard room I booked had no window but it wasn't clearly mentioned at the time of booking. Water mixer of the wash basin was confusing and we figured out how to get the hot water on the second day.

The location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

It was my first time staying at Hampton by Hilton. I was really surprised and satisfied. From the moment I checked in, the front desk clerk helped me carry my luggage and asked if I wanted hot tea or coffee. He also upgraded the room for free. The service was superb. Secondly, when I got to the room, the sanitation of the room was really clean, which was what I wanted. It was also a non-smoking room, which was really friendly to me who is allergic to smoke. Finally, the breakfast was very rich, the waiters were also very friendly and responsive. The important thing is that the location is excellent and it is very convenient to go anywhere. I will stay in this hotel again when I come to Lanzhou next time🏨

Amazing hospitable staff and owner! Live music performance daily. Great hostel environment! When taking the guestroom - single occupant you get a whole room for yourself (small, but your own). Not the normal hostel style and basically it is like a hotel room. Just a bit smaller and shared bathroom / showers. Truly a hidden gem (see the entrance photo). Not to forget, great location! Right next to the Yellow River Bridge! Ans next to Xiguan metro, just a few stops from West Railway on line 1, which is perfect if coming from the airport.

The hotel is very close to Gansu Grand Theater. The hotel also took the initiative to upgrade the room. It is close to the Double Festival and has a great atmosphere. Qu Ying, the front desk, has very good service! I will recommend it to my friends! I will stay here again next time!

I stayed 5 nights at this hotel. It is located right across from the Lanzhou train station. The area is very busy with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It is very easy to use the subway right next to the train station to go around the city. There's also a bus terminal right next to the subway station.

First of all the hotel is in a great location, right next to Lanzhou centre (with direct access) near the gansu museum and gansu women and children's hospital. If that's not enough it's also close to the subway station. The rooms were spacious and clean and we felt very comfortable in them, the morning breakfast had plenty of options and was satisfactory. My only issue with this hotel is the elevator wait times (although that's not an issue with the hotel itself rather the building) when going from the ground floor to the hotel rooms we would often wait a few.minutes for the lift, when it arrived people would push infront ensuring no more space. When I left the hotel at 10 in the morning it took me over 20 minutes to just get an elevator with space to go down, i tried taking the stairs but the doors were locked. Overall a good hotel i wouldn't stay again just because of the elevator, everything else is perfect.
