Lanzhou Qilihe District 5-star Hotels

The hotel is newly opened, so I booked this hotel with the mentality of giving it a try. The result gave me a big surprise. First of all, the facilities are complete and new, and the cleaning is very clean! The bathroom is very big and the makeup mirror is very clear. Girls should especially like it! There is a full-length mirror in the dressing room, which is perfect. The ladies and gentlemen at the front desk have very good service attitudes! We were upgraded to a room type for free, with a view of the Yellow River. The hotel has a large facade, and the location is good and easy to find. It will be your best choice for future stays!

Check in at the Olympic Sports, opposite to Wanda Mall after shopping is the hotel, five-star facilities, high-end atmosphere, the parking lot is very convenient on the ground, the stars at the gate are very beautiful, the front desk is warm and polite, and the luggage man is also very enthusiastic to help us mention the room along the way, and the warmest thing is that when you meet the management or waiters on any floor, they will warmly help you when you can’t find anything. I don’t like the big bathtub of the hotel. I will only stay here when I go to Lanzhou in the future.

The hotel is relatively tall, close to the old street, and the old street is right at the door. The location is excellent. It's seven or eight minutes away from Matan Metro Station, so it's relatively fast to travel by metro. The room was also very big. I booked two rooms and got an upgrade to a deluxe double room. The house was very big and I felt very comfortable. The heating and cooling is very hot in winter, and the quilt can't cover me when I sleep at night. It's really hot. The bath water is very comfortable and has a large amount of water. It is inconvenient to have no floor mat in the bathroom. Overall, it was good. We drove here and parked the car in the underground parking lot (there is a McDonald's a little ahead of the hotel and there is a sign to enter here). When we left the car, the hotel did not record the license plate in time. I turned back to pay the fee, and drove back and forth in the underground parking lot for half an hour. Finally, I went out from the entrance where I entered. It showed that the fee was still charged. I called the front desk again and talked for a long time. After a long time, the pole was raised, which made me feel better. I immediately felt depressed. The details were not done very well. The license plate was registered but not confirmed (it was my fault that I didn't write it down clearly), which wasted time. Another point is that a deposit of 300 yuan is required. I don’t understand that a five-diamond hotel has this process. I think it is not suitable for such a hotel and it is unnecessary. There don't seem to be many people who charge deposits now. Overall it's pretty good. This is just a small mistake. I hope it won't happen next time.

Because I decided to travel to Lanzhou at the last minute, I forgot to make a reservation when booking the hotel. As a result, when I arrived at the hotel in the evening, there was no room with a double bed. The staff at Wyndham Hotel quickly gave me a solution, recommended that I book a family room first, and upgraded my room type. Considering that it would be very troublesome to change rooms later, I immediately helped to renew the room after communicating with the hotel the next day. I would like to express my special thanks to Manager Wang Xia for the proper arrangements. The Wyndham rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. The beds are very comfortable and the decor in the room is simple and stylish. Overall, I am very satisfied with Wyndham Hotel. Its excellent service, comfortable rooms, complete facilities and ideal location made me feel very comfortable and happy throughout my stay.

I stayed here for 1 night in a short trip to Lanzhou. The room was nicely decorated, although dark (the window looked to an inside patio), and the bed was superb. Staff were very helpful, especially 马引弟 and 陈志坚, who were very friendly and helped me giving some tips from the city.

The location of the hotel is very good. Together with the Xidan Commercial Building, you can go out to Exit C of Line 1. It is very close to the Yellow River. You can walk to Baitashan Park and the Yellow River Cableway. There are many delicious foods in the surrounding area. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and sent a lot of guidebooks.

The hotel is right at the subway entrance, which is convenient for travel. The service staff is enthusiastic. The room is not very big, and the window is very small. The full-length mirror in the room is scratched, and it is recommended to replace it. Because the room I was given was near the elevator entrance, the sound insulation was not good, and I was woken up in the middle of the night.

All the staffs are very attentive. Location wise, it is really near to the night market which is very long. The breakfast has a good spread between western and Chinese.

I booked this hotel because I had a train the next morning. It's right across Lanzhou train station, so perfect location for my purposes. Very nice room, everything was perfect.

The location is very convenient n amenities were befitting that of a business hotel. That said the fact that only 1-2 lifts(mostly 1 while we were there) works and it takes an average of 7mins for it to arrive each time we used it(off peak n breakfast hours) leaves a lot to be desited(although the floor manager we ran into acknowledges it's an issue they have been trying to resolve).
