The hotel is conveniently located behind Lanzhou Old Street, quiet in the bustling city. The room facilities are reasonable and the location is spacious. Although it is newly opened, there is no decoration smell; it’s just that the projector in the executive room is a bit useless. The laundry room in the public area on the first floor also solved the problem of the clothes we had accumulated along the way during the self-driving trip on the Gannan Ring Road. One subway stop away from West Railway Station. The transportation is very convenient. The hotel environment and facilities are very good. Only ten minutes walk from Mayan metro station and a ten minute ride to Lanzhou West rail station for airport and bullet trains. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks in a short stroll including excellent BBQ Uyghur food opposite. Room was great size and tastefully modern while lobby area stunningly tranquil and zen. Hotel is practically brand new as is the immediate city district and a few snagging problems still exist. In my room the AC Couod not be operated so a window was always open. And the fancy electronic WC appeared to have no electric connections as module didn’t work. In hall outside room there was ongoing minor repair to the flooring. Amazingly good value for money and high standard Bed and bathroom plus enormous TV all working 100%.

Orange Crystal is pretty good. The room is spacious and bright, and the service is thoughtful and enthusiastic. The location is excellent, very close to Lanzhou West Station, the taxi starting price is about ten minutes walk. In the evening, you can go to Zhongshan Bridge to see the night view, and go to Xinguang Night Market to eat some snacks. It is also very close to Gansu Provincial Museum, where you can see the museum's BMW Stepping on Flying Swallow and learn about the history of the Hexi Corridor.

The hotel I blindly selected this time didn’t turn out to be a bad choice! When I checked in, I casually asked if there was a milk tea shop or a snack street nearby, and the girl at the front desk took me there in three steps! The room is large and stylishly decorated, and the quilt and pillows are really soft! It’s so comfortable to sleep. When I came back at night, I found some snacks on the bedside (guess it was put there by the cleaning lady?). The water in the bathroom was also hot, and I could go downstairs to eat hot rice noodle rolls. I forgot to bring my charger when I left, and the housekeeper actually said that he could help me send it home by express delivery... I was really impressed by the service! Especially since it is just a few steps away from the West Station and the Old Street, I especially want to recommend it to friends who are traveling on the weekend!
