Lanzhou Chengguan District Hotels

Location is good, staff friendly and able to speak English, very helpful and nice. The room was decently decorated however there were a few inconveniences you would not expect from Hilton. Curtains were missing, noticed too late, in the morning the light was so bright through the sheer, my sleep was disturbed. The room was extremely hot (27 degrees celsius) while the ac was working it still felt too hot. The mattresses felt somewhat different from other Hilton hotels. I struggled falling asleep and kept waking up throughout the night. The internet speed is locked behind a Hilton membership (2025, having wifi locked behind membership is insane) The bathtub didn’t have any toiletries nearby, if you want to take a bath and wash yourself you will have to get out of the bathtub and reach for the shower gel or whatever else you need or bring your toiletries with you and put them next to the bathtub before getting in. The view was nice however the sofa in front of the big windows with the city view had stains and dark spots on it making it a bit uncomfortable to sit on it for too long.

The main draw of this hotel is the location and leisure facilities. If you like to keep fit or need to get fit - then this is a perfect hotel for that - as you can integrate it into your trip whether it be for business or holiday. The pool and gym are the most impressive facilities I’ve come across in a hotel. If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Thought the room was comfortable enough but I suppose if you weren’t using the hotel facilities you may feel it’s overpriced - we didn’t think this because we used the excellent pool and gym. We had a couple of cocktails in the lounge bar that were excellent and the service in the hotel was very attentive.

This stay was beyond my expectation! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and I slept well until dawn. The service staff was warm and considerate, and they were very thoughtful from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles. The location is also great, with convenient transportation around, and it is convenient for shopping and eating. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very good, cost-effective, courteous service, and fruit is given. The bedding is comfortable and the two-meter bed is spacious. The overall environment is very good and I will come again. The sound insulation is average and acceptable. It should be fine if the windows are closed.

I like this hotel, it's a safe place to stay. I will miss it. When you enter the door and insert the card, the intelligent voice Xiao Ai will greet you, and say goodbye when you leave, and the curtains will open automatically... The breakfast is also good, with on-site ramen and cooked ramen. I booked a breakfast voucher without breakfast, and the staff did not charge my child for breakfast. The first night I stayed in a room facing the road, the view was also very beautiful, and it was very quiet when the window was closed because I wanted to see the Lanzhou University campus. The second night I changed to a room opposite, and the view outside the window was really beautiful! I will miss it, because my children like this hotel.

Everything was great...... i even would like to submit perfect review for this hotel but it has been tainted by the breakfast which i never expected, not even the least. I stayed for 6 nights and i got the same beakfast lunch package for nights in a row........ omg. 😀😃😃

The hotel service is very good, especially the concierge Xie Ting, who helped me negotiate the room before check-in, and also provided welcome fruit, very considerate service. The hotel can also park for free to store luggage. The breakfast is also very good. I will come here often.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lanzhou when traveling from the south to the northwest. The front desk lady was very friendly and upgraded the room. The Lanzhou beef noodles for breakfast tasted great. The greening master outside the hotel said that the newly planted landscape plants will be very beautiful after blooming. We are welcome to stay at the hotel next time... In short, the hotel stay experience was good this time. I will come again next time I come to Lanzhou!
