We loved it. The best thing was how spacious the apartment was and how nice the guy at the reception was. We would return without hesitation

My mum and I had already booked at the apartments as a last minute break before we read the reviews and after reading them I was a little concerned. But, although very sparse in the apartments themselves with few decorative touches, it was perfectly adequate. The apartment itself was clean and had all the equipment needed. Staff were friendly and obliging and the public areas were kept clean. The town is within a 15 minute stroll and we found an excellent coffee/pastry shop on the way which was full of locals (usually a good sign) and cheap too...€1.80 for a good latte. I think possibly that the people giving negative reviews were expecting 5 star accommodations at a 3 star price. You get what you pay for.

When we first arrived here I thought the hotel was a bit quiet for me but it was actually just what we needed! The rooms were huge and had many English channels, the only thing I felt was missing was an onsite shop as we arrived around 8pm and there was nothing in the room to even make a cuppa or some toast. As our week went on we found this hotel to be our new favourite as although it was 5-10mins walk to town it was also only €3 in the taxi. We hired a car for £80 for 4 days, took the coach trip to the market (€10 each)went to the volcano museum which was much better than we expected and visited the local towns. If we didn’t have the car I’d have found the hotel and location a bit quiet, there was only entertainment one night during our week long stay but again, the town is a few mins away. The barman (hassan, i think was his name) was fabulous as he told us the best places to visit which having the car saved us a lot of money. Hotel food was good, pizzas, burgers, breakfasts and the half pint of gin they pour will do the trick 😂 we have already booked up again for January next year and would 100% recommend this place!

Low budget, basic, had to request toilet roll and bin bags as only cleaned every 4 days. pool area was kept clean and tidy by the lifeguard on weekdays. No lifts, invaded by ants. no air conditioning , rooms vary a lot in standards, some really need a good makeover, whereas some are a lot fresher decorated with poor quality ikea style furniture. one bedside table in double room so had to use a chair no wardrobes or draws. safe deposit boxes don't work. WIFI is useless, snacks are overpriced and poor quality. Everyone we spoke too said they would never go back there, its a good 25 minute walk to limited shops and bars. uphill coming back.

The good bits are that it is cheap at the Lanzarote Paradise. I found the staff excellent and everything is spotless. There are however reasons why it's cheap. Lanzarote Paradise must be nearly two miles from the beaches although to be fair taxis are cheap its just hard to get one. The rooms are very very basic. No wardrobe just a rail. No decorations, pictures or mirrors on the walls (except the bathroom). Not even tooth tumblers. If you just want a place to lay your head it's ok but for finer comfort or ease look elsewhere.

After reading the reviews, I was apprehensive about my stay. Yes the rooms are basic but there’s everything that you would need. The bedding and towels were changed once during a 1 week stay however additional were provided. There is the basics around, supermarkets and a few restaurants. It is around a 30 minute steady walk to the beach, more restaurants and bars which was perfect for us. The hotel put on a bus twice a day if you didn’t want to walk it. All the staff were friendly and happy to help with booking excursions etc. The pool (by the bar) wasn’t heated and neither was the baby pool so we didn’t utilise these however, I’m sure as the temperatures increase this wouldn’t be an issue. Overall, we had a lovely stay and have nothing to complain about and thought it was a brilliant value for money hotel and would definitely book again.

I'm at the hotel now, and having read all the negative reviews, I want to reassure future guests as I, too, was a little worried. The reception staff have been lovely, polite, and helpful. Checking in was easy. The room is enormous and clean. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom does the job! The shower runs off a mixer tap, so it's not the best pressure, but not the worst, and the water is hot. The kitchen area is fine, with a microwave, hob, and fridge, kettle, and toaster. There is basic cooking equipment. My only moan is there is no sharp knife for cutting bread and peeling vegetables - no peeler either. I personally like a wine glass and mug , of which there are none, but there are tumblers and cups. Bring a tea towel! The hotel is quiet. We are at the back looking at the mountains and common land and not overlooked, unlike around the pool area where guests walking down the stairs can see you on your balcony. A previous reviewer moaned about there not being daily housekeeping - well, you are SELF catering, and the information sheet does clearly tell you someone will come in on day 4. Haven't managed to get the WiFi to work, but who needs WIFI on holiday? Someone had written a review about the pool not being like the one in the photo - well, it is. There are 2 pools! They obviously hadn't explored. The pool areas are cleaned and tended. The pool bar is reasonable and offers food, milk, and 5lt bottles of water. If you arrive late bring tea and coffee and at least you can have a drink. The person who moaned about no shops and hills, again obviously hadn't explored. A 15-minute gentle stroll brings you to shops, restaurants, and the beach. I hate walking, and the walk back isn't difficult. The hotel offers a trip on Sundays to Teguise Market for 10€- definitely worth doing and daily trips to the main part of Costa Teguise at 11 am and back at 4 pm. They can also arrange taxis. A holiday is what you make it and for the price paid, this place is very good.
