Nice clean friendly resort, excellent villa with all the amenities you could ask for, bar/restaurant was OK with basic food but overly priced for what you got.

Great holiday. Lovely villa, pool and people! Great service by all staff- reception, bar and cleaning, grounds people. Very well kept facility, with lots of upkeep going on in the back ground. The pool was fab, and the bar food lovely with themed nights. Some evening entertainment available which we attended a few times, with the quiz being a highlight. Wifi great in villa. All staff to be congratulated on their friendly and helpful attitude. Many thanks

Really lovely complex, staff excellent especially reception and life guard. Apartment 109 has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and great for mobility scooter user. Unfortunately far to busy for us in august and found it a little disrespectful that some familys felt the need to use foul language and drink alcohol in pool (especially as I have 2 young children) The sun bed situation really needs sorting most days we would go out in the morning and return at lunch to find many beds with towels on that weren’t used all afternoon very selfish behaviour.

Had a wonderful stay at Ona Las Brisas. Was recommended on a forum and looked at some YouTube videos prior to booking. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment. No 24. Was really impressed how well equipped the apartment was. Travelled with our one year old and they provided a high chair and travel cot (requested) Staff were really helpful. Bus station next door and supermarket opposite. 5 min walk to the sea front, restaurants and bars

Another wonderful stay at Las Brisas. We arrived and were given Villa 37, which was very close to the road and noisy. We complained to the lovely lady in reception and she said as soon as another villa became available she would move us. True to her word we were moved after two days to villa 26. The management always go out of their way to help, if they possibly can. We enjoyed our 10 night stay, wonderful weather, food in the restaurant was excellent as was the entertainment. We will be returning next February for a month.

We've had 2 wonderful stays at Las Brisas with RCI exchanges. This time, with no RCI exchange available we went as paying guests. Sadly, our experience this time was a disappointment. We love the location close to Playa Blanca centre. We also really like the bar and restaurant. We were very unhappy with our accomodation. We booked 7 days in a 1 bedroom villa followed by 5 days in a 2 bedroom villa. We were allocated villa number 2 for the first week on the corner between the main highway and bus station. Very noisy with constant smells of truck and bus fumes. We asked at reception for something further away from the road but nothing was available. So our hope of a quiet week eating and relaxing on our terrace didn't happen. On changeover day we were told to wait in villa 2, until our new villa was ready to move into. We went to reception twice during the morning to check on progress and were told that we would receive a phone call when it was time to move. I assumed that this would be on my mobile because there was no telephone in the villa. Sadly I was wrong and the receptionist apparently rang several times to a non existent phone in the villa. Strange that no-one thought to check why we were not picking up the phone, especially when we'd been to reception twice to check on progress. Eventually, the cleaner handed me her phone because she'd asked the housekeeper why we were still in the villa, so the housekeeper told me villa 21 was ready. We went to reception for keys and it was implied that we were at fault for not answering the phone which didn't exist. So we moved to villa 21. Great location, well away from the road and bus station. Villa 21 was not ready. Beds were not changed, kitchen was not cleaned, cleaning rags and bags of laundry (not sure if clean or dirty) were left in the living room area. So, another trip to reception! The cleaner did return a short while later to finish. Later we opened the fridge. When we did so we were confronted with a disgusting smell of rotting fish. Should have been another trip to reception but instead we decided to do the cleaner's job and throughly clean the fridge. We also bought some lemons in an attempt to improve the smell. None of this worked, so off to reception for another chat. A few hours later, someone came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge, and left. That didn't work, so another trip to reception. Late in the following afternoon two people came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge and left. About one hour later two more people came in and did the same thing. None of it worked, the smell was still awful every time we opened the firdge. Strange that so many people could repeat the same mistake and hope for a different result. By now it was our last full day in resort. So, another visit to reception where we said that if anyone who had tried to fix the fridge had opened it they must have k

Ona Las Brisas is a lovely resort, the bungalow we stayed in (104) is immaculate, the gardens are pretty and well maintained and the location couldn’t be better - close to the centre of Playa Blanca and just across the road from a great supermarket. The pool is lovely and heated and plenty of sun loungers to go around (see later). We arrived on the evening of the 30th November to find out that the first three weeks of December are the annual maintenance time for the resort. This year it wasn’t just the villas that were having work done but they decided to totally gut the bar & restaurant too!! It seems in Dec'22 the pool was closed and the area around it totally refurbished with new slabbing which is lovely by the way. We had booked 10 nts but ended up coming home early – work started each day at 0830 and didn’t finish until 1730 – jack-hammering, grinding, banging, dust floating over the pool. A relaxing week it wasn’t. The pool area was very quiet people-wise as, like us, they probably opted to go out for most of the day to get away from the noise - perhaps too why there were plenty of sun loungers!!! And when the bar work quietened down a bit a couple of villas next to the pool started up with new pergolas, bathrooms etc so there was constant noise as they were even chain-sawing down the old wooden pergolas to replace them with metal/composite ones. We have booked to go back in May’24 so hopefully it will restore our faith in the resort. It’s a great shame that they didn’t close the resort down whilst the renovation works were going on. We talked to a lot of disappointed guests who weren’t aware of the works. It seems perhaps the communication between Ona Management and the villa owners isn’t great. A great shame as when we had visited in May’23 we had a wonderful week. Fingers crossed for May’24 !! Lesson learnt for the future though, don’t go in December.

The property was a short walk to a well-stocked supermarket and only several minutes walk to the beach. Our apartment was a decent size with an oven and dishwasher. It's great to have normal UK channels on the TV to watch at nighttime. The beds were comfortable, but the bed linen only changed once during our week. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who spoke good English and informed us of the location. We were given poolside towels which we could change during the week. The pool was a good size and pleasantly warm. especially for December. All of the apartments looked to be south-facing so you had most of the sun during the day. There was one unfortunate drawback to our week as there was no bar or eating facilities. This was due to the bar being refurbished. Therefore we had to eat out every day. Playa Blanca has many bars and restaurants, so spoilt for choice. Overall I would recommend this holiday complex.
