Hotels Near Lány Castle in Lany

The location is good, the price is not high, the room is spacious, the owner is Pakistani, the person is very enthusiastic, personally drove me to my friend's residence, because I took 2 boxes with me.

Stayed 6 nights on holiday Large hotel in Beroun just outside the city walls, 10 minutes walk to the train station which takes you to Prague Main station (Praha hln) in 40 minutes-1 hour. Was very pleased with the room size and height, but our room was located towards rather tall buildings for Beroun and a Road in the middle which caused that the traffic noise bounced off the buildings making it quite noisy in the room with open window. The room had a slim shape with few Windows and only one of Them could open. It was very hot in the room even though the temperatures had cooled off, so we Daily had to make the choice between a hot(ter) room or noise from open Windows that bordhered us in our sleep. If you want to stay at this hotel make sure to ask for a room toward the other side, the city walls! And if you come to Beroun in the summer you Might want to heavily consider getting a hotel with aircondition! Temperatures Can easily be 35 degrees celsius. Breakfast was okay but nothing out of the ordinary for a 4 star hotel. Good selection of local cakes/crossaints but only hot milk? The juices were diluted and I really did not like the Apple and orange juice. Juice seemed expensive in Czech so thats probably why they could not serve fresh juice. One of our bedlight switches did not work upon arrival, this was fixed between 48 and 72 hours into our stay, which seemes quite late. The shower was in a bathtub, so you had to stand up in the bathtub if you wished to take a standing shower. Not very handicapped or elderly friendly! We were given out a mat upon wish, as I was afraid my Old man would trip. The mat however was not with suction cups, so it was not much of a help. As for the hotel otherwise the stay was very cheap, the staff was friendly and apart from the noise from the outside the hotel was quiet and the wifi worked very well in our third floor room. If you choose this hotel make sure to ask for a room towards the city walls, but you Might consider staying at a smaller hotel inside the city walls which has more charm and is quieter.

Had a wonderful weekend stay with family. We enjoyed the lovely peaceful setting close to Prague. The food was fabulous from the simple but very tasty continental breakfasts with home made breads and yoghurt, to the exquisite meals prepared for lunch and dinner. We were told the fascinating story of Adolf Hoffmeister by his granddaughter, he had produced most of the art on display in Dvur Hoffmeister. There is an interesting biography about his life and art in the reception. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. We stayed in Bedroom 5 above the stables. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and included a spa bath, just what is needed after walking around Prague for a day. We hope to return again.

This is not definitely a * * * * hotel in the western meaning. Hygiene: Found at desktop an unemptied bin, from the previous stay with used PPE :( What about policy and hygiene rule against pandemic?? Bathroom: amenities sp****ly located, not even on a tray (very common on real 4stars hotel), 3x body lotion, no soap.... A floor maid as found in the Russian hotels in 90es would have been helpful, however we are in Prague, not in Chelyabinsk Restaurant: one man show, brought a menu inserted into a transparent envelop were water (?) was spilled on... basic English Spoken Breakfast: an airport hotel has normally earlier opening time than other hotels. First flight out of Prague (I heard that) about 4:30 a.m. The restaurant open instead at 6:30, or supposed to. As transfer to departure terminal booked on 6:45 I dared to be at 6:25 down, trusting to find personnel there whom I kindly have asked their grace to welcome me 5 minutes earlier. Restaurant close shut, lights off. at 6:30 a ”babushka” was still cleaning table. At 6:32 I knocked at the door another ”babushka” came from the kitchen mumbling. I started using my Russian language skills, and suddenly the door opened... Hotel overpriced, restaurant overpriced. Good thing, shuttle to and from Terminal Flawless wifi Management to improve: - safety and hygiene procedures during pandemic ( this is not over!) - motivational and language training to employees - price setting

The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. The room has everything necessary: a comfortable and wide bed, a refrigerator, a tea (with coffee and tea), a TV, and a bathroom with clean and careful shower. I chose this hotel because of it's price and relative proximity to the airport - so glad I did because I loved this experience! Set in the middle of the Brevnov Monastery - this is truly a unique hotel and the grounds are definitely worth an explore. Buffet breakfast was good (the room it was served in was gorgeous) and the onsite restaurant offered delicious options for dinner. Rooms were clean, on the large side (by European standards) and had everything I needed for a one night stay. I enjoyed the touches that showed you the age of the place - like the exposed beams in the ceiling. Not a fancy hotel, but a beautiful setting, lovely staff, and great experience.
