We enjoyed our stay here. It feels like you are staying in a historic place. The breakfast was in a lovely room. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Convenient to Ithaca. Convenient that there is a restaurant onsite. If we are in the area again, we would stay here again.

The Inn is a treasure as it is a community history lesson with photos and artifacts of the area and of the many colleges and universities. The rooms are lovely, plenty of parking with a pub attached serving good food. Even though there are no elevators, the staff is eager to help with luggage. Breakfast is served in the "ballroom" and we wished the walls could about the adventures of days gone by.

Rooms large, clean, very comfortable. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were delicious! Nice connection with the Pub below. Visited for second time and plan on visiting again. They remembered us in both the B&B and Pub

When my husband and I arrived I have to say I was somewhat disappointed as the outside of the inn certainly did not look like the inn that is pictured when you book. There was no bunting, flags etc. out front and where you park to come in at the back of the inn it was even less inviting. That changed when you enter and when we went up to our room it was exactly the same as advertised. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We met the inn owner at breakfast, which is served in the original ballroom, the following day and she was delightful and very friendly. She made us delicious pumpkin pancakes served with a fresh fruit salad, choice of juices plus tea and coffee. She offered lots of suggestion of things to see and do in the area and we took her recommendations and were not disappointed in any of them. In the small lounge area on the first floor there is a small kitchenette where you can help yourself to coffee, tea, water etc. 24/7. The Corner Pub which is attached to the inn, but run separately, offers a great menu and the staff were so friendly. We had dinner there the first night and it was packed with locals out for a meal or drink. Our second breakfast was also very tasty and a fulfilling. All in all we were happy with everything other than the outside appearance that does not make it look inviting. We would recommend it to friends but would warn them about the appearance. I think there are plans in the works to clean up the parking lot etc. so hopefully that will help.

A lovely period inn that was more than fine for our one night stay. The charming old building could use some investment, but our room (8), was clean and the bed comfortable. The cooked breakfast was simple and hearty, though there is no choice, so beware if you are a picky eater. Others have remarked on the location at a busy intersection and the slightly unkept rear of the hotel and parking lot, but while true, this didn't bother us. The Corner Pub (in the same building) is worthy of a separate TA listing and offers great pub food in a warm local pub vibe. I recommend you visit there.

When we first pulled up, we were a little skeptical of our decision, but the Inn is very well maintained, the breakfast in the third floor ballroom was fantastic. Eileen was a great hostess and told us all about this historic Inn. We stayed 2 nights, and it was a great place to go out to the various Finger Lake locations. We also ate at the pub the first night. The salmon was delicious. ThanksEileen.

A superb location to launch day trips around the Finger Lakes. We trailered our motorcycle and there was plenty of parking for both truck & trailer. This is a really cool old building with a great vibe - super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served in the third floor ballroom just as it was in many 1800's era buildings. Everyone was very friendly and the on site pub is convenient, the food is good and it's a great spot to mingle with the locals. There's a brewery as well as an ice cream stand within walking distance . What's not to love about this place??!!

I spent four peaceful and delightful nights in Room 1. It could not have been better! The room was exceptionally clean as was the bathroom. High ceilings, decorated with beautiful antiques, lots of windows, comfy bed, soft sheets. There is a pub (outstanding food and service) in the same building so dinner was just next door. Eileen, the innkeeper, and Nancy, the manager, were sweet and welcoming hostesses. I can not say enough good things, and I look forward to another visit!
