We didn’t know what to expect upon arrival, however we were pleasantly intrigued and surprised. The host, Stéphane was most helpful and accommodating. His breakfasts are better than any brunch restaurant in the area, hands-down. Abundant, fresh, tasty and creative. We had breakfast on the terrace among the chirping birds and it was so very calming and charming. On the subject of creative, Stéphane has an incredible collection of artwork, many dynamic abstract canvases created by him, a collection of beautiful books as well as vinyl albums and a wide selection of movies. He has a wine selection and can even provide meals at an extra cost. He offered us a tasty cider upon arrival and gave good advice as to what was worth a visit on our weekend getaway. The room was impeccable and large. Comfortable bed, extra pillows, enormous sparkling-clean bathroom with deep tub and a ton of crisp white towels and quality toiletries. You won’t need to pack blow dryer or curling iron or even shampoo or lotion. All I needed was deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush and hairbrush. Stéphane leaves his guests to relax and enjoy the shared living space and we found him to be very laid-back and generous. It felt like a cultural home away from home. Stephane is the kindest most generous host ever. His home is equipped with all. Our room was warm and welcoming with a large bathroom. Eating breakfast on the porch was amazing. Breakfast was sooooo good... You can use the kitchen , mske yourself some hot drinks, eat fruit and enjoy some old movies and nice records to listen to. The house is full of amazing art. No TV in the bedroom.

Je recommande cet hébergement à tous ! Une belle maison chaleureuse et le propriétaire est accueillant, respectueux et soucieux du confort de ses invités. Il est également un cuisiner hors pair ! Les déjeuners sont copieux et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables avec un bel espace commun au salon. Il y a une belle galerie avec 2 grandes tables patio. Nous avons suivi les recommandations du propriétaire pour 2 restaurants et 2 activités et ce fût des coups de coeur !! Nous sommes venus pour un weekend à vélo faire la « waterfront trail » et le B&B est à 1 minute de la piste cyclable (à 15 KM de Gananoque et à 35 KM de Brockville). Nous avons pu laisser nos vélos dans le garage lorsque nous partions faire d’autres activités Un gros merci à Stéphane pour ce beau weekend, nous serions restés une semaine de plus ! :)

Note de 10/10 Réception par le propriétaire très soignée et personnalisée. Chambre à coucher très accueillent et bien décoré. Déjeuners hors pair sur le balcon-terrasse. Repos et quiétude garantie. Passionné de vélo (le Parkway sécuritaire), de plongée (Ivy Lea), c’est pour vous. Nous allons définitivement retourner cet automne. Je recommande donc grandement un séjour ici. Merci Stéphane. Der Gastgeber, Stephane, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat sich Zeit genommen und uns gute Tipps für Sightseeing gegeben. Das Zimmer und Bad sind sehr geschmackvoll und schön eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber. Viele schöne Bilder in den Räumen. Die Lage des B&B ist etwas außerhalb, aber wunderschön und sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück ist fabelhaft. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt!!!
