The third Huttopia Campsite we have stayed at. Great sized pitches, fantastic facilities and stunning view of the lake. If you’re camping in a tent take heavy duty tent pegs, the ground is like concrete. Like the rest of the Huttopias they serve a good beer and amazing pizza, the ice creams however are rubbish so that saved us a fortune! Close to a beautiful Chateau, the photo is taken from one of the windows in it. If we ever return to the region I’d certainly stay here again.

This is a very nice campsite in a beautiful location. Just a few things to note: 1. Yes there is direct access to the lake, but it goes down a very steep slope so it's not very easy to do with toddlers or prams (some steps, the rest a sandy slope and rocks at the bottom). 2. When we were there, the splash area near the toddler pool - which features prominently on the website - was not working and staff just shrugged it off when I asked about it. No apologies offered. We also had an issue with noise on our last evening from a party next door. While the party was obviously not the campsite's fault, it was handled a bit slowly and only ended at 5:30 in the morning. Again no compensation or anything was offered the next morning even though they clearly knew how bad it was. Overall a beautiful site with nice pool and play areas but there is room for improvement on the customer service side of things.

We are traveling by van as a family of 3 young children (9/5/4 years old) as well as with two calm dogs. Being used to traveling in the middle of nature most often via home camper, we are looking for an encrange in nature. Huttopia had all these promises, freedom, nature, space, … The philosophy that huttopia announces, the lake and the swimming pool encouraged us to book for our first time and for 4 nights! The natural setting is there, well yes but by far because we are placed on a site 100% in the middle of the passage towards the reception, its restaurant, the playground and towards the swimming pool as much as at first sight it doesn't bother us too much. The pitch, even with the "comfort" option that we took, did not delight us more... ok, it is "big" (it's a way of seeing, because always one on the other) and surrounded on 3 sides by hedges and without a % shade!!! We have to use tricks with our tarps to make it. In short we say ok we are there Tampis But the evening starts and the activities start a blind test, theme of the evening with the campers at the restaurant! The children are let loose in the playground and the good mood is yes, of course, even if it pleases a lot of people, it does not suit us.. a lot of noise 50 meters from our camp… as much to say again as freedom, nature and freedom we are not there… Our children fall asleep all the same around 9 p.m., the evening continues until 10 p.m./10:30 p.m. The noise of the activities stops and the comings and goings of tap dancing towards the toilets and tents start. Happiness when our tent is at the edge of the road... We decide in the morning with our children to leave, the camp does not satisfy us and we will see with the management if it is possible to arrange I specify that the staff has always was very pleasant and I thank them for their kindness. We don't like the campsite either, but everyone likes their tastes, I understand. We were only reimbursed for the rental of the fridge. We were supposed to stay another 3 nights but no action was taken which I could understand until I met a friendly couple who arrived in front of our pitch while we were packing up our things and informed us to be next on the location they were passing through and happy to know that the campsite had a free place (ours). I go back to the management explaining that the location is re-rented for this night and ask for an arrangement, even a credit on another huttopia but no. On that I don't agree... they were rewarded 2 x for their location 33 !!!! I even witnessed the scene where the manager whispered to her saleswoman at the reception, next time you won't give the pitch number until people have left... this sets the tone! I did not ask to be reimbursed for everything, I am well aware that it was us who were leaving even if for me the promises of huttopia were not up to par

We went there in mid-June: not too many people and good weather. We had taken a Canadian tent (1 adult and 3 teenagers) The campsite is very well located, 500 m from the lake. Some pitches have a magnificent view! The swimming pool is nice (I don't find it very green to have a swimming pool near a lake...let's move on) The sanitary facilities are clean. The campsite bar is practical. Friendly staff. Very good experience!

Arrived with the family at the beginning of July, the campsite was very quiet, the children enjoyed the heated indoor swimming pool and the activities at the miniclub in the morning. The wooden chalet overlooking the lake was a bit rustic but totally exotic, in the heart of nature. The campsite was very clean, well maintained and all the staff were smiling and attentive. We are delighted with our stay!

Nice clean campsite with nice pitches. We stayed in a safari tent, which was very clean and fully equipped. Good facilities to relax in a beautiful environment. We stayed here for 2 nights, which was enough for us. Beautiful surroundings, little else to do. Recommended to rent electric mountain bikes!

We booked the Toronto chalet (T35 ditto T36) with a superb view of the lake. Very decent cottage. Quiet location. The region is pretty, the beach a few kilometers away is pleasant and gives the possibility of doing nautical activities. Smiling, attentive and responsive staff. Thank you for the good advice on visits and restaurants.

First stay at a huttopia campsite, with a search for nature. From this point of view, no worries. But the value for money for the last week of August is not up to par. Nearly 900 euros, knowing that during the same week last year we rented for 600 euros in a small, very well-equipped and family campsite on the Giens peninsula. Good quality Vancouver chalet accommodation. Unfortunately location V20 has very little land compared to its neighbors, and faces the passage. Even if there is little traffic (fairly empty campsite this week) and overlooked, it's a shame. It would have been oriented differently with a few more square meters of land, I could have given one more star I think... Finally on the catering side, as expected, there is pizza or burger food. Both were pretty good, but a disaster from an organizational point of view! There were apparently quite a few people in the kitchen and serving. The order was made at the bar. Payment was made when ordering, which should have made things easier, but as the tables were not numbered, we were given a number when ordering, and the waiters spent their time going around the terrace with the trays to look for who had placed each order 🙄 No synchronization between the bar, the pizza maker and the burger cook, as a result, the drinks arrive more than 10 minutes after the order, a pizza arrives practically at the same time, then you have to wait 12 minutes more for the burgers which take a tour of the terrace before arriving at our table in front of the kitchen. We saw a dessert sacrificed to have been prepared, for a table that had not yet had these pizzas. What is going on ? Why so little organization at the end of the season when the campsite is emptying out, and the staff still seems to be there? A positive note, all the staff are nevertheless very pleasant, and the sector allowed us to have a very good week. This campsite finally has numerous pitches with very beautiful views of the lake. To see if the nightly rates are at the market price, because the environment is rather pleasant.
