Gili Lankanfushi Maldives

Oh my gosh if this isn't the best place in the Maldives! Service is out of this world . The attention to detail is phenomenal and we very rarely had to ask for anything the staff just know and read the guests. We tried the Japanese restaurant which was great and delicious, also eating at the main restaurant on a few occasions too. We booked a private snorkel with the marine biologist from Australia who was informative and friendly which was exactly what we wanted. The spa therapists are some of the best , haven't felt that relaxed in ages from a massage. The rooms are huge , we booked a pool villa and it was a bonus to have the pool which I would do again if I came back. Nikolas the GM and his team are top notch and I was struggling to find a negative to write on their feedback form! Miffy our Friday was always available and ready to book things or ask questions if we needed. You could see his passion and level of service comes from been a valued staff member for a long time. Thanks to all the gili staff for making our few nights so memorable we will be back for sure!

Where do I even begin? My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at Gili. It is paradise, combined with the greatest service possibly imaginable. It is heaven on earth. Our “Mr Friday” Tesla arranged every detail of our trip from start to finish- from an incredible snorkeling trip, to the most beautiful private dinner on the beach, and everything in between. Perfection. The staff here are the friendliest, most welcoming people we have ever encountered in all of our travels around the world. Special thank you to Nalin for the incredible cocktails all week, Ibbe for his impeccable food service during our meals, the hostess Monica for making us feel so welcomed every day. The food, the drinks, the incredible selection of events and activities every day are just over the top. If you are thinking about coming to the Maldives- look no further than Gili Lankanfushi. We have yet to travel to the same place twice, but we will certainly be back here, and hopefully soon!!

My wife and I stayed at Gili as the conclusion of a two week birthday anniversary trip. We stayed in one of the Cruseo residences and were here for 5 nights. Our Ms Friday Shanny went us upon our arrival and had our entire stay planned for us when we arrived. While it was planned we were free to make any alterations we desired. The staff accommodated all of our requests. We changed massage types - dinner nights and activities based on wind or our desire to just relax some days. The food team - Alicia - Monica - wob bit - se Ann- were always happy to see us and very welcoming. The team was not intrusive but anticipated our needs. They very quickly knew our names and became aware of our preferences. We decided to do the battle of the bartenders activity and Bryan and Stanley made the night. They were funny competitive and creative with their cocktails. The meals seemed to get better with each meal. My wife and I tried to find something we didn’t like but were unsuccessful. The homemade ice cream became a daily ritual at 3-4pm that I will miss. One of the things that I was most impressed with is the moral of the staff. We were fortunate to be invited to the final host football match and to see the host village. I was very pleased to see how well Gili treats the team and how vast the village was. It is a testimony to the resort to understand that by keeping the team happy it is apparent to the guests. We will definitely be back - if it was closer as we are from the US we would come every year, but at a minimum we will return every 5 years on our Anniversary. If you were like us and trying to pick a resort in the Maldives this one is the one to pick. Period Stop!!!!!!!!
