Ross Inn Motel

This motel could be featured in a horror film with how outdated and filthy it was. There’s mold in the bathroom behind the toilet and next to the shower, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed, the sheets were dirty, the fridge had food and drinks still in it from the previous guest and the woman working the front desk is very rude

We arrived late and rooms were clean snd comfortable and quiet. Great accommodation. Would absolutely stay again. Rooms were updated. Nice large parking lots for if you are pulling a trailer. Management was friendly.

Where to begin? First of we booked 2 rooms for ourselves and our 2 teenagers. We arrive in Lanigan and go to the Ross Motel at 3pm. The parking lot is unkept and snow piles and snow everywhere!! There was snow piled up right to the motel room doors. So we arrive there and go the front desk. The door is locked and no one around. No signage if anyone is there or not. We call the number associated with ******* and the motel. A lady answers and states that she is an hour away shopping and will call us when she gets home. She calls us at 5:30pm. and we meet her at the motel front office which seems like part of her living room. She did not know that we booked 2 rooms, didnt know what type of room we booked or how much to charge us for the stay!!! Next thing she does is try to charge me DOUBLE!!! "oh i didnt notice that". So she charges us for the rooms. Now lets go to the state of the motel.YIKES!! The motel is located on the side of highway 16. there is no security, no facilities, no anything. the rooms were dated and smelled of old man body odor!!! Both rooms were absolutely stinking, smelling of smoking and the walls are paper thin. I could hear what my teenagers were watching like i was in the room. We totally felt uncomfortable from the start of our stay. Very sketchy experience all around. To top it off, the lady ghosted us the entire trip!!! she would not answer any basic questions and basically left us lone. would i stay here again? HELL NO!!!

We stayed at the Ross Inn last night, on short notice having realized that we simply did not want to drive any further. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and tidy. Considering that the buildings are only separated from roadway by a parking lot and a bit of greenery I wondered if lights and noise would be an issue at night. I need not have worried. Road noise was negligible and the black out curtains very effective. We could not have asked for anything better. Should we take the same route in the future, would definitely stay here again.
