I have stayed here about 6 times over the last year and never grew tired of it, if u are looking for old world charm , a quintessentialy English welcome then stay here , the breakfast is special and Robina and Nigel the owners and their staff Val and Laura make u feel very valued and welcome ,the grounds are magestic and peaceful , it’s easy to unwind there … it’s a hidden treasure. As other have said, the warmth , welcome & service here was excellent from my initial enquiry in November to our 2 nights stay I arranged for the 6 of us, plus 3 hounds for a birthday soirée ( December 9th)....... The whole ambience compliments the history of the location. Great rooms ( 19 & 4 ) are a definite must, freshly sourced local ingredients for the yummaliscious breakfast & relaxed & witty service from Val, Laura, Nigel & Rowena.. It would be an extremely picky & harsh guest who would find fault here... We all hope to return.. Thankyou..( 6⭐)

I stayed for 2 nights at Langrish House with friends while attending an event nearby, what a find this was. A wonderful experience from the minute we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the owner. This is a beautiful period house, with lots of history, in acres of very well-groomed gardens. I was allocated a room on the top floor which was well furnished, a good-sized bathroom and step in shower, the furniture was period but oh so well maintained, really excellent WIFI. Although all the features of a hotel, it is very much an up-market bed and breakfast, they do not do dinner. A lovely lounge with open fireplace where you can relax and order a bottle of wine. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, you order exactly what you want the day before, and it is prepared for you, a service sadly nowadays not offered in many other establishments. All the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and you could tell they enjoyed working there. I will definitely be returning again in the summer months, highly recommended!

Benjamin Spencer was really welcoming and chatty and kind it made me and my family happy also the room was lovely and comfortable this has inspired me to work in a hotel like Benjamin when I am older. Which has made me thankful for my parents for taking me.

Wonderful place. Fantastically presented breakfast, comfy luxury without pretence. Clean, huge bath, elegantly exquisite rooms. Staff and owners go the extra mile. (Did I pinch a pen from you? Ritz hotel? ) The gardens at dusk are gorgeous. Plenty of wildlife Thank you for looking after me.

Lovely country house on beautiful grounds. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Old-style furniture in fitting with the age of the house. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast, with vegan options. Looking forward to visiting again.

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home … Robina & Nigel were wonderful hosts. We loved being off the beaten track yet 2 hours from London . Our room was comfortable, lovely modern bathroom with an excellent shower , pristinely clean . Excellent breakfast . We enjoyed the Jane Austen museum and walk in Chawton and visiting some stately homes . Dinner at the nearby Ye old George Inn which Robina had recommended was excellent.

Our very gracious hosts, Nigel and Robina, were mortified when we told them that "apparently your front doorbell doesn't seem to work" and made us very welcome in their very spacious house. The information book in the room was chalked full with local information, far more than any other b & B or hotel we have stayed at. Their recommendation for the best local pub was amply supported by our experience there. Any doubts, ask Nigel. Val, our breakfast hostess, was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. We look forward to returning.
