Hotels near The Laguna in Langkawi

We were told family room was unavailable upon check in and offered suite with 2 rollaway beds. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. We did not want our kids to spend a single night on these so requested for a room change to family room as booked which was available later that evening (questionable really). The housekeeping guy couldn't wait to pack his bed whilst we were busy packing our things to move and he insisted on taking away 2 mineral water bottles. Lucky we insisted on the change as family room was so much bigger and the single beds comfier. Another big issue that everyone should know is the lack of hot water in the hotel. We were showering with mostly cold or very little warm water. Brought up the issue but nothing much was done about the no hot water issue.

Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

Got a cheaper deal, last room on last block 5. I need to walk a little far from the lobby but it's less noisy at night because it is far from the cruise jetty and the bar at centre court, more privacy. The view is great, the nights full of stars in November you can bring your own telescope. The restaurant is closed after 6pm and only has one bar open. Non halal, it also served alcohol. Have a game room to play dart, pool, foosball, and watch EPL. Buffet bbq and cruise dinner available nearby the jetty. Got an infinity pool and also a large children's pool. Good for family and group stay. It has free shuttle service to Cenang Mall. I suggest spending the evening at Cenang Beach, having dinner there and taking a grab around MYR 7-10 to get back to the Resort. Nightlife is happening more at Cenang Beach, but this resort is more private. You can get a cheaper Island Hopping Package (can buy online) at 9am-1pm at the nearby jetty too. Room amenities include a safe box (mine was out of battery that time), iron and iron board, hairdryer, mini bar, electric kettle, towel, toiletries and no bathrobe.

The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a travel agency in the lobby open during work hours where you can get helpful information about tours, local beaches, restaurants etc that we found very useful. The hotel is also conveniently located next to several banks, eating places, supermarkets and Langkawi’s Kuah night market that occurs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We had an ocean view room that gave us a view of the ocean and pool. Our queen room was spacious and so was the bathroom, which included both a shower and bathtub. The rooms were decently clean though I would say the focus was more on certain items or areas and not the whole room. Still, it wouldn’t hold us back from visiting again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This time is Reality where everyone can visit here, right here this place. Imagineable and heaven made. Beautiful, Miracle, Unbelievable. Overall is amazing and satisfaction. Yes for me. Pool It's open and public we to swim, it's really relaxing and plus music surround the pool, safe. Room Convenience all equipment provides, comfortable bed, fantasy heaven view, love it indeed. The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

We arrived early at the hotel and the weather was awful (raining).We we’re extremely tired and we had to wait for the rain to finish in order to be able to go out for a walk. The staff at the reception were excellent.I have been travelling a lot and I have been using Mercure often but I have never met such an amazing and professional customer service.The check in time was at 15:00 and the asked to wait in the lobby, they offered us a coffee and they managed to check us in at 11:00! Always with a great smile in their face.Ziela and Djarhul (apologies if I do not pronounce it correctly) and also the gentleman at the reception who brought our luggage in the room were so nice.Congatulations to Accor hotels (Mercure) for their excellent staff. The above employees made us feel very special and I would like to thank them For their support and help.Really 5 stars customer service

stayed in deluxed double room. bilik indah khabar dari rupa. kecik betoll. pakai camera 0.5 kot time photoshoot. pastu punya la kedekut berus gigi pun tak dapat apatah lagi ubat gigi. kalau nak kena +rm4. aku duduk oyo rm40 pun dapat. dah la ada anak lipas aku jumpa kat bantal. habuk pun banyak. terbatuk mat haha. kebersihan tandas 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 kat shower ada lumut.

This hotel located just in front of Pantai Chenang. Very convenience to access to the beach. There are so many stall along the roadside. Plenty of duty free shop there. The hotel room just nice for my stay. Its very clean and comfortable. The receptionist also very friendly and willing to help. My friend had left his ‘loket’, the hotel staff willing to help us to find the things and keep for him to take back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The environment is very good, the swimming pool is good, the breakfast has few types, you get what you pay for. Definitely worth the price. The service staff are very friendly. Rent a car or motorcycle.
