Location wise, it’s not good nor bad. Rent a scooter to get to places as everything is really far out. The only thing we looked forward to was the flea market just downstairs which is on every Wed and Sat. Breakfast selection was poor, the same options everyday and it didn’t taste great too. Room cleanliness can be improved. Windows area are very dusty and dirty, with room service done every late afternoon. The room was fully carpeted, and they don’t even vacuum the room, so not ideal with those with small kids as we know how messy they can get with their food and snacking, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. Won’t come back, unfortunately. The only great part is the restaurant at the rooftop with the infinity pool. Super nice view of the sunset :)

Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

Got a cheaper deal, last room on last block 5. I need to walk a little far from the lobby but it's less noisy at night because it is far from the cruise jetty and the bar at centre court, more privacy. The view is great, the nights full of stars in November you can bring your own telescope. The restaurant is closed after 6pm and only has one bar open. Non halal, it also served alcohol. Have a game room to play dart, pool, foosball, and watch EPL. Buffet bbq and cruise dinner available nearby the jetty. Got an infinity pool and also a large children's pool. Good for family and group stay. It has free shuttle service to Cenang Mall. I suggest spending the evening at Cenang Beach, having dinner there and taking a grab around MYR 7-10 to get back to the Resort. Nightlife is happening more at Cenang Beach, but this resort is more private. You can get a cheaper Island Hopping Package (can buy online) at 9am-1pm at the nearby jetty too. Room amenities include a safe box (mine was out of battery that time), iron and iron board, hairdryer, mini bar, electric kettle, towel, toiletries and no bathrobe.

The location is solid and hotel clean. The real joy is the staff. They are happy to help and provide their time to make your stay in Malaysia great.

Totally satisfied with the room. Room and toilet are so spacious. Really like it. Come with mini fridge and iron together is another plus point. If only the smart tv can function well my trip would be more better. Need to change new battery for the tv remote. And the aircond in room 336 is broken I think. Not cold enough

Renovated hotel..bilik bersih and renovated..pool view..anak masuk bilik mmg terus terjun swimming pool..breakfast ada 2 tempat..boleh makan 2-2 tempat..view mmg superb la especially bila sunset..mmg sesuai utk healing and spent time dengan family..staff semua baik and friendly..book satu malam tapi tambah satu mlm lagi sbb best sgt stay sini..so jgn book satu mlm saja wanib 2 mlm baru puas sbb vibe sini lain macam..petang2 blh lepak kat pantai and sport water ada kena jalan sikit ke cenang beach..dekat dengan pantai cenang..makan amd shopping blh jalan kaki or naik grab je…will come again..and recommended

Great holiday with my family. My 3 year old loved the kids pool and the kids corner. My husband loved the outdoor balcony and the kitchen area. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is located distanced from tourist hot spot, it takes about 25 mins to go any where e.g. Pantai Cenang, cable car, airport. The breakfast selection is good and have many choices. Overall it was an enjoyable and memorable holiday, would definitely come back here again next time.

The best way to describe this hotel is, a 3-star hotel with a 4-5 star resort personality and quality :) While searching online prior to booking, I found that it is 3-star and boutique level (I have learned in the past during my few stays in LGK, 3-star on actual site is often actually 2-star and less) which admittedly, already sealed my expectations but I was banking on it being revamped and newly launched few months ago so worth a check-out. While the front facade is newly painted and looks like a shop lot converted hotel, my oh my, the moment you enter the Reception area, everything is so well designed and nowhere near its first impression - and the Bayou was definitely being sneaky on me with its amazing pool backyard view! Room was great and as aesthetically pleasing as advertised, breakfast was a good spread and staff was superbly friendly. It felt like we were in a resort hotel in spite of its location. Another thing that I enjoy here is the openness of the Lobby area with ample seating areas, separated by flexible sliding glass doors which made the area more spacious than it actually is - the design is very clever. This wild card was definitely worth it!

Don't be fooled by the 4.5 rating, because I certainly was! The only thing this hotel offers is big rooms! And not much else! The location is a big disadvantage, because all the main attractions are far away. You would either have to get a taxi every time, or rent a car or scooter. Car is better because of the distances, but it's more expensive. We were very happy that the hotel offers scooter rentals. However, sometimes the scooters are all in use, so then you're stuck. We were only able to get a scooter from our second day at the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Back to the rooms - they had white lighting, which is a bit tasteless and makes it a bit too casual. You can fix that with the bedside lamps, though. The rooms also have mini fridges, which is always a plus point. My main issue was the bathroom; the placement / height of the wash basin, with the tiny shelf directly on top of the faucet - barely giving any space in between - was VERY uncomfortable to use. There is a normal way in which things are meant to be positioned, but this was completely absurd. The toilet and shower were all *one* area, albeit big. No boundaries, no borders, no cut-off point separating the two. So when you shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet - and stays that way. I wouldn't have minded, had they provided wipers. The toilet paper was not great quality, and its holder was worse - when trying to put the roll in, it broke in the first instance. The toilet seat was slightly flimsy. The shower pressure was good, but the water not as hot as desired - despite keeping the geyser on the whole time. There was no proper space to keep things like shampoo. Breakfast: They have the shortest breakfast timings I've seen at any hotel 😂, namely 8am-10am (two hours). It is served inside the room. They give us a choice from four local items (from which we have to choose *one* for each day), plus toast & butter/jam, plus tea or coffee. We have to make the tea/coffee ourselves with the kettle in our room. They already apply the butter/jam on the toast for you, which is good for lazy people like me. And it was quite tasty! The local items were okay; it varies from palate to palate, whether one would like them or not. I liked three out of four, though they were quite oily. All that said, it was THE most basic breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. It only works as a preventive measure from going crazy with hunger right when you get up in the morning 😂 Speaking of food - because of the location of the place, there are no restaurants you can get to by foot (as far as I know), and even GrabFood Delivery had very limited options (we survived on ordering McDonalds for lunch). One good thing was that, unlike other hotels, there was a water dispenser in the lobby, free to use whenever we wanted. Hence, we never ran out of water. This is a very beautiful beach side resort nearby a small town with some local delicious food options. Rooms are very spacious and have great comfort. Luckily we got the room with the large balcony as featured in the picture I also checked out their St Regis Suite but I prefer the standard seaview room. The Standard Room has direct and unobstructed seaview whereas the St Regis Suites have only partial seaview and feel smaller due to the separate living room and bedroom. Service was very friendly and extremely helpful eventhough sometimes lack professionalism. Anyhow I prefer it this way as it becomes more casual and genuine. I have also checked out other resorts on the island but I would definitely come back to this one again. Highly recommend to visit!
