Hotels in Tanjung Rhu Beach, Langkawi

Very nice resort in a remote area.  Room decoration is very natural and upscale. Bathroom is very spacious. Service is pleasant. The swimming pool is beautiful and well maintained. The beach is as good as it can be on Langkawi. Overall feeling is ”quiet luxury”. And let's not forget about breakfast with champagne and eggs benedict. minor cons: - gym is not up to 5 star standards and strongly smells rubber; - order a taxi in advance, it can take a good half an hour for it to arrive here and then another half an hour to get to the airport; - the beach is only partly private, and the staff doesn't much care to keep sometimes noisy groups of tourists outside; - all my a la carte orders in restaurant had some issues. Not 5 stars standards again.

The room was spacious, facing the garden and had its own jakuzzi. The service was excellent with big pool for kids and family. Good spread of local & continental breakfast. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and stay

The room was clean and tidy, the staff was very enthusiastic, and it was very quiet. It was a good place to relax, definitely beyond my expectations. The only thing I was a little worried about was that stray dogs appeared from time to time on the beach, and it seemed that the whole town was like this. Although there was no behavior that hurt people, families with children still need to pay attention.

I like this area as I stayed nearby last year. Quiet. Peaceful. Walking distance to a great quiet beach. Away from too many tourists. Close to local Malay community, restaurants, street food. I will come again, I am sure. Of yeh, great value for money. Thank you to the friendly staff on reception.

A cheap and comfortable hotel but a bit far from the afternoon cakes

We loved the villa with beautiful garden and separate swimming pools for each family needs. Clean room. Good breakfast in open air dining area with delicious your choice of meal plus fresh fruits. Close to the airport. We can't see the beach from this villa but can enjoy sunrise over the mountain. Overall we could enjoy our stay and relaxed there. They even prepared the breakfast earlier for us because of our flight schedule. Very warm welcoming and hospitality. Thank you so much. Smaller but reminds me of Mt. FUJI.

Super nice and cosy room. Worth the money, theres a burger stall nearby if you’re hungry at night. Free parking , just be careful if you bring any food from the car to hotel or vice versa since there monkey around. The monkey seems to know if you bring food hahahaha

The environment is quiet and can have a nice rest. The hostel did not provide free meal and sufficient toiletries and you have to prepare yourself especially the brush and toothpaste. There is swimming pool in the vicinity of hostel building and it can be the bonus point to some people who like to swim. Highly recommended to those who would like to have a budget stay.

We had a short escape to Langkawi Island and stayed in this extremely excellent hotel for a 3D2N. My kids, between 3-6years old, enjoyed very much here. I believe that the hotel is newly opened in 2023, so all facilities, equipment & buildings are new. We booked 2 family suites for 13 pax of us, a really comfy stay. Every room comes with different designs, each of them apply IKEA concepts, generally, everything are from IKEA. They provide simple traditional breakfast for 4 pax per Family Suite (provided you select to include breakfast upon bookings). We dont have any cons to feedback, the only thing i could think of is the location, but I don’t find it as an issue since we rented a car. It is about 15min to Kuah town. Btw, they do charge a fee for using the shared kitchen.

Good to stay during peak season when all other places are sold out or overpriced. There is a 24 hours convenience store on the first floor.
