Hotels near Wantong Park (Northeast Gate) in Langfang

The first time I stayed at this local five-star hotel, the stay was very good. The hotel is rich in green outdoors and the environment is elegant. The decoration in the hotel is also very good, the lobby is spacious and bright. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, especially the little girl Yingxu at the front desk, who is very professional and attentive, provides high-quality service and service attitude is very good. The hot springs and swimming pools in the hotel are together, and the water quality is very clean and highly recommended. The hotel's restaurant is also very cost-effective, the price is not expensive, the amount of dishes is also very large, and the stay is very satisfactory.

Are they affordable, or just plain cheap skates? ”The least you expect, the more satisfied you will be”. Where do I start... Front of house (seven or more staff), including the duty manager, were ”hanging around” the back of the counter, upon our arrival. It's mid March, and can you guess, what music is playing in the background? Christmas music, clearly, there is no supervision and oversight from regional management, or just a lack of common sense. The rooms are dark, and have a dodging feel to them. In the dining area, where breakfast is served, you will find that the descriptions of the dishes on display, are solely in Chinese. No English whatsoever, yet, ”they” want to ”run” an Internationl / English brand. This branch, is in my opinion not worthy to represent an international brand. Perhaps, retraining or change of management, would be an option. Until then, this establishment will never see us again, nor will we recommend them.

I really want to praise the service at the front desk of Qianli Hotel. First, let me say that the hotel is located in the city center and is close to everything. Wanda is only a few minutes' walk away. Because I went to Langfang to do some errands, I arrived at the hotel before two o'clock. The room was clean and tidy, the windows were bright, there was no smell, the environment was very comfortable, and the sound insulation was very good. There are many types of breakfast in the restaurant, the lunch buffet is also quite rich, you can also order separately, very convenient, the taste is very good, and the price is affordable. There is a bus when you go out, it is very convenient to take the high-speed rail.

The hotel hardware equipment is good, but the service is lacking and not satisfied. Because I was in a hurry and forgot to take the charger, I would always ask the front desk to take the charger. The front desk did bring it, but it couldn't be used. I didn't think too much. Who knows when I go down to eat. I saw a series of power banks next to the front desk. I have never seen so many power banks at the front desk of a hotel in Guangdong, and a lot of people are borrowing them. What cap 99. You slowly understand the meaning of it. We booked into the Holiday Inn Suites at ”Holiday Inn Langfang”, this time around. Our previous visits to this hotel, were not particularly good, with service ”a lack of service”, being the primary reason. Nevertheless, we wanted to try the ”Suites” section this time, and also see if things have improved. Unfortunately, we were yet again inconvenienced at check in. This is the only hotel, in China, in our experience that seem to not be favourable towards foreign guests. Bearing in mind that we have visited numerous hotels, and have been living and working here for around four years. Other than the most unpleasant check in process, our overall stay was fairly good. The ”suite” has a fairly spacious layout, and the rate is relatively affordable. We were very disappointed to learn that the swimming pool, was not operational (this whilst it's advertised on Trip.com). We do enjoy the Breakfast at this hotel, in fact, we have breakfast here at least once a week. Previously, we found that the Dish Name Cards at the Breakfast Buffet, are only in Chinese. This is still the case, WHY? As it's an ”International Brand”, hence we expect a level of English as well. This can be such a lovely Hotel, if only they would work on improving their service levels. With that said, we received excellent service from ”Allen”, whom tried his best to meet our requirements. (Perhaps, his management, could learn some professional courtesy from him). There are numerous hotels around, and if this one wishes to remain busy, best they improve their service, especially towards foreign guests.

I stay here every time I come to Langfang for business, and I am considered a regular customer. I have been assigned the same room twice in a row recently. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or care for Ctrip customers. There is no one in this room, compared to others.
