Whipstock Guest Farm

The accomodation is about 15 minutes outside of the town of McGregor along a dirt road which I wasn’t expecting but it was peaceful and comfortable and the staff is lovely.

We had a wonderfully peaceful weekend at Whipstock Farm in McGregor. The setting is tranquil and spacious, with rustic charm and big skies that invite you to slow down and breathe. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and there were loads of thoughtful extras throughout. It’s clear that the hosts have many exciting plans afoot and are genuinely keen to please—warm, welcoming, and full of heart. A perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature.

We had a great stay for the night. Room was fabulous and spacious, facilities great. Awesome setting on this farm, lovely walks around the accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough

A beautiful and tranquil farm just a few minutes outside McGregor, offering plenty of on-site and nearby activities. Relax by the serene duck pond, take a walk to the upper dam, or enjoy a peaceful paddle in a canoe. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast options are generous. If you’re staying in the Barn Cottage, which boasts the best views on the property, consider bringing earplugs as the charming oak tree nearby may drop acorns onto the roof at night (we understand this is being addressed).

Tranquil stay away from "the madding crowd" provided respite after a long year. Hospitality at its best.

Fantastic value for money. Lovely host, incredible views of the mountains and such a joy to be hold spending evenings here. Well equipped cottages. Close enough to Mcgregor if you feel like dining out.Nice short walk to a clean dam to go cool off
