Attractive hotel with great views but welcome so cold and unfriendly really. Breakfast ordinary. Quickly ran out of bread - asked for more but said it would take 15 minutes because frozen. Felt everything had been cut to the bare bones - staff as well as food - wafer thin slices of banana and kiwi at breakfast - really - with all those French markets. Beautifully decorated but no warmth.

We loved this hotel! We stayed in a light and airy room with large bathroom, all very clean. Convenient parking just in front of the hotel. Charming helpful owners, excellent breakfast and very good value. Wished we were staying longer, will certainly be back.

I stayed at the Hotel Citadelle in Port Louis for four nights and could not have been happier. The owners and staff were nice, the room was very clean and comfortable (I stayed in a sweet single room which was very reasonably priced and perfect!), the location convenient, and the dinner delicious. Travelling alone, I felt very safe and welcomed there. There is so much to do in the area, this served as a great hub!

Le 21 août nous avons réservé auprès de l’hôtel de la Citadelle à Port Louis 3 nuits, chambre et petits déjeuners, à 106 euros la nuitée (voir photo jointe). A notre arrivée, la propriétaire, fort peu aimable, nous a informés que compte tenu du tarif peu cher le petit déjeuner n’était plus compris, que le prix restait identique et qu’il s’agissait d’une erreur de leur site ! Attention à cet établissement appâtant les clients sur son site pour ensuite les mettre devant le fait accompli en supprimant des avantages, tout ceci accompagné par des propriétaires mal aimables, nous conseillons de vous méfier.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, tout est parfait, l'hôtel est très calme, très bien situé , avec un stationnement aisé sur un parking public devant l'hôtel. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable, décorée avec goût, parfaitement insonorisėe. La literie est excellente. La salle d'eau très bien équipée et le wc indépendant sont d'une propreté irréprochable tout comme la chambre. Pour finir le petit déjeuner par la variété et la qualité des produits proposés peut satisfaire tout le monde. C'est l'un des meilleurs hôtels de notre séjour en Bretagne. Nous le recommandons .

Chambre Confortable, propre et rationnelle. Très bonne literie. Hôtel aménagé avec soin. Parking aisé à proximité. Regret sur l’absence de bouilloire et de petites attentions comme on peut le trouver dans les chambres de certains hôtels.

Hotel nel piccolo centro del paese con comodo parcheggio pubblico di fronte ( gratuito ) . Giardino molto bello e stanza pulita . Le buone notizie finiscono qui . Nel 2024 non è possibile fare l’albergatore e non parlare un minimo inglese . Le camere sono sì pulite ma sembra di stare in un ospedale talmente sono asettiche . Le camere vengono rifatte su sollecito ( imbarazzante ) . I 2 titolari alla reception salutano a fatica ( e considerando i 200 euro a notte sarebbe il minimo) . Decisamente non lo consiglio a turisti non francesi o che parlino fluentemente la lingua . Se siete amanti dell’ospedale Style avete trovato il vostro posto .

Positif : chambres propres, beau jardin et belle bâtisse refaite récemment Négatif : aucune pression dans les douches sur au moins 3 chambres et politique de l’autruche de la part des gérants qui justifient en disant qu’on est les seuls à s’en plaindre( pourtant constaté sur 3 chambres !) Donc un peu dommage pour la communication défaillante de la direction.
