Excellent check-in and service from the whole team. Great breakfast with variety and a beautiful setting. Central location, easy to get around and take walks along the river.

Every item of the hotel breaths nostalgie the rooms, the parking, the breakfast, the staff,… complete renovation is inevitable and time critical but apparently not for the owners or the management. Unfortunate because well located … time to move on !

Perfect location. Great breakfast, Comfortable bed. A big star for each. Stayed here for a family reunion last year. Since ownership /management changed was disappointed to see that standards have dropped drastically. The staff are helpful but there are so few of them around. This weekend the overworked receptionist doubled as electrician trying to deal with issues such as the electronic key system not working and several guests locked out of their rooms. Meanwhile other arriving guests were waiting at reception with the phone ringing. This hotel feels like it is nose-diving down without a careful management eye looking at maintenance and details. I love this place but it is definitely not a four star hotel!

A lot of good things have happened in the hotel. The rooms are very nice. A wonderful view from the outside terrace of the castle and directly on the Isar. We were able to park easily in the hotel garage. Very good and central location.

An old hotel with no hygiene standards. The bathroom was not very attractive, nor was the bedroom. Everything was pretty run down. At least the cobwebs and dust were included. Charging €60 per person for something like that is not appropriate!

Room OK, food below par... pure convenience. Ready-made products were prepared for a group, overcooked and covered in a bad sauce. Unfortunately, freshness and creativity were lacking. If this is then booked and paid for in full, there is no longer any value for money. In colloquial terms, this is called going over the top. The top dog is rightly in second to last place.

The location is beautiful and there are a few places to eat and drink nearby. The beer gardens on the Isar are very good! The hotel itself was simply overwhelmed. We had booked months ago and were looking forward to this group trip. When we arrived, the rooms were not ready at 7:30 p.m. So we went out to eat nearby and came back at around 10:30 p.m. to get into the rooms. The beds were made but the bathroom was not clean! The next morning we complained and asked them to please remove the stains left by the previous guests. They cleaned a little but the floor was dirty and you got black feet when you walked through the room. It was surprising that weddings were held every evening despite a lack of staff when they were not in control of the "normal" business. It's a shame but something has to change here, so I can only recommend the hotel with a bad conscience.
