It is a great guesthouse with ditto rooms (I was lucky to have a sunny balcony), but very simple. The restaurant has an old-fashioned atmosphere and the food is good but very basic. I think they make 1 large pot of soup for the entire week and serve it to the guests every day. Then a schnitzel. The choice is not huge, but it tastes good. The staff works hard and is friendly. The breakfast is very simple, could be better.

I was here for a few days for cycling and walking tours and I really enjoyed it. Friendly owners, an extensive breakfast and delicious dinner. The restaurant is therefore busy, especially during the weekends. The rooms are simple but offer everything you need. The hotel is located in a beautiful area about 1 km from a hiking trail between Aachen and Trier. The hotel is often used as a stopover on this route. You can also take beautiful walking and cycling trips in the area. The tours take you through forests and vast meadows. I had a great time here and can recommend it to everyone.

Charming and authentic hotel. Friendly people. Lots of parking space. Tasty food for a very good price. It is about 1 km to the Eifelsteig. You hope that these types of hotels will never disappear.

Diese Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf das Restaurant. Das Restaurant versprüht den Charme der 70er Jahre ohne dabei in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Alles ist sauber, ordentlich und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Karte wechselt wöchentlich und bietet bodenständige Gerichte (Schnitzel, Cordon Bleu etc.) zu fairen Preisen. Wir waren in unserem 2-wöchigen Urlaub insgesamt 5x dort und waren jedes Mal ausgesprochen zufrieden mit dem Service und der Qualität der Speisen.
