If you’re visiting the Australia Zoo or staying near Beerwah or Landsborough, this is the place to be. We stayed one night at Beerwah Motor Lodge, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve had during our whole trip. The room was super spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The property itself is quiet, surrounded by nature, and just really peaceful. But the best part? The owner. She’s hands down one of the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve ever met. She truly went out of her way to make sure our stay was as smooth and stress-free as possible — we felt taken care of from the moment we arrived. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that energy makes all the difference. If we ever come back to the area, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend!

Linda and Mick what can I say! This is our second time staying with you at this wonderful property and as always we are just blown away! Perfectly clean rooms, easy check in, the most delicious food your ever gona taste and the facilities are top notch! Our meals were just amazing! The chips are just the best I’ve ever had in my life 😬 I’ve secretly fallen in love with the shower gel provided in the bathroom (I think I mentioned it in my other review) but it’s just so good lol Located only 1 minute from Australia Zoo this motel will have you completely relaxed from the moment you drive in. Make sure you order all your food from Linda and Mick during your stay (it was the best meal of my entire holiday) They also have discounted AusZoo tickets so please ask at reception. Well done you guys! Can’t wait to come back 🙌🏻

Our hosts were great and their communication with us prior to our stay was thorough and helpful. Nice little pool and free video and book library. Closest place to stay to Australia Zoo which is about two kilometres away. Standard accomodation at a good price. Would stay again. Linda and Paul from New Zealand.

Stayed here for 1 night (19/01/24 family of four). Perfect for a short stay. We chose this place due to proximity to Australia Zoo and positive reviews. The reviews were overall accurate. The premises are well kept. Our room was modern, super clean and beds super comfortable. The pool is smaller than we thought and is only really good for dipping. As we were only there for 1 night, this aspect didn't affect us. The host Leeonie was really accommodating and hospitable. She helped to arrange a shuttle for us to Australia Zoo as we didn't have a car and loads of luggage. Beerwah is in the country and if you are going to stay longer to explore the surrounds, you really do need a car. Highly recommend Beerwah Motor Lodge.

Lovely stay, helpful staff. Close to Australia Zoo. Close to other hinterland attractions. Short drive to coastal attractions. A lovely central location to explore the sunshine coast and hinterland. Could maybe advertise local attractions/sites on a map? Loved staying there.

Wonderful place to stay. Beds were comfortable and the motel room was immaculately clean. The cupboards were well stocked with everything we could have needed. Helen was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Was a very nice place to stay, not far from Australia Zoo. Place is on the main road, very nice 2 double and 2 single bed unit, with very nice bathroom. Very friendly staff and willing to help with anything we asked. Next time I will stay more than one night. The train do past close by, but did not bother us at all.

Best place to stay when visiting Australia Zoo or the area. Highly recommended. We stayed in a family room. Room was spacious and very clean. Comfy queen beds and pillows. We had a sound sleep after a tiring and long day. Tv was huge. The room has its own microwave which is great. Great communication with the hosts. Reasonable pricing. Make sure you grab a food somewhere if arriving after hours. There’s a chinese restaurant 6 mins away which is also a great place for takeaway/dining. We’ll be staying back here again the next time we visit the area.
