Das Motel liegt verkehrsgünstig an der Kreuzung US-287/WY-789 - dennoch recht ruhig, nach hinten raus sogar ziemlich idyllisch mit Plätzen im Grünen am Ufer des Popo Agie River.
Das Zimmer war schön gestaltet, makellos sauber und es roch bemerkenswert frisch. Für ein Motelzimmer war es überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet, selbst Bügeleisen und Kaffeemaschine und -zubehör fehlten nicht. Leider brach die ohnehin lahme Internet-Verbindung immer wieder ab.
Das Frühstück in der viel zu kleinen und ungemütlichen Lobby bestand um 9 Uhr nur noch aus Cerealien und abgepackten Kuchen, der Instant-Kaffee aus dem Automaten machte es nicht besser.

Surprising gem! The motel is older, however the room was updated and super clean. It was great parking right in front of the room. The town is adorable and the breakfast place next door was delicious. We will go back!

The motel is right in the river. We sat and had a drink in the afternoon on the patio there. The layout of the room is nice. The bathroom has a mirror and sink and then there is another mirror and sink to get ready on the other side of the shower area.

The room had a riverside view, was nice enough, although we thought the bed was too hard, did sleep well enough as it was quiet. No pool, but there was a hot tub. Breakfast was a basic continental (no meat or eggs), but there was enough to fill up with anyway. The restaurant adjacent (The Oxbow) had good food and we satisfied our breakfast craving by having it for lunch. Within walking distance of the Gannet Grill & Cowfish restaurant and microbrewery, so having drinks with dinner and not having to drive is a plus. Would stay there again if we were going to be in Lander.

I would like to thank the Pronghorn for graciously supporting the Pug rescue fund raiser each year, they wouldnt be able to do this very important event each year without you graciously agreeing to allowing 200 pugs into your hotel, you are very appreciated for doing so!

This was an ok room located in Lander, WY. To be honest, it needs a remodel and felt dated. At $134 it was too expensive for anywhere, but Lander. We needed a room that accepted dogs and this was it. We arrived late in the night. Breakfast was ok, less than other places. Kids didn’t eat it, I ate a yogurt & bagel (but I’m an old school dirt bag climber). The staff at the desk was great & friendly. Overall, just an OK stay. If “meh” was a room, this was it. I did like looking at the big lots out front, I felt “fancier” than the room I received. Heard they had a hot tub, but I didn’t get in it.

We loved this place! It was close enough to restaurants, main street attractions and shopping to walk most places. Our room was on the back side close to the Popo Agie River. Beautiful! Coffee maker, fridge, microwave, iron, etc. all in the room. The breakfast room was small but had a good variety of breakfast items. There is a restaurant across the parking lot which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent! Downsides: no comfy chair in the room. Instead, there was a table with 3 chairs. The toilet was low to the floor and the faucets were very tight making it hard to turn them on and off and to adjust the temperature of the water. The Lodge is close to a busy intersection and sometimes it was difficult to get out of the parking lot.

Perfect location near gas and restaurant. Easy off I-80 east. Clean, moved us to another room,no problem under renovation so some rooms had no hot water. Breakfast was decent for Continental . At $55/night was good deal for one night stay..
