Hidden gem in the side of Toscana, lovely staff and amazing food! 10/10 when it comes to that, however, the thing that draws in down from 5/5 stars from me is that there was no AC in the room, which is a must in July when the temperature is 35-39 degrees

This lovely little hotel run by fourth generation of the owners Rachele and her partner Stefano continue to update and innovate the hotel and restaurant despite the last few years of difficulty. It is a Tuscan gem set atop the hills above Lamporecchio with panoramic views across a huge valley where you can literally see for miles. With leafy terraces and the crown on top is their new covered terraced dining area set to take in the views at their best. Just above, the pinnacle of the hotel, is their swimming pool! Situated in the countryside there is easy access to Bologna, Florence and Pisa and many of the surrounding medieval towns such as Vinci, Sienna and Lucca just to mention a few. Spend a day or a week, there is lots to do in the area or just sit in the shade read a book and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and those views! It’s a little piece of Italian heaven!

Very nice view from the rooftop-restaurant and from the pool! We had a very good and delicious breakfast and the rooms were super clean! The staff was super nice and helpful and kid-friendly. Thank you for our stay, we will definitely come back!

We sat in the open air rooftop dinning room. A light breese, sunset on the horizon. The owners are both trained sommeliers and offered wonderful wines. I enjoyed a gnocchi dish. Light pillows of potato in a ballenced source. Then a tortallini with beef cheeks and a cheese foam. Delicious!!

Nice people, good food and wine + a fantastic view from both the restaurant and pool. Rachele and the staff go the extra mile to help you. Don’t miss this one - the placement highest in the small village are marvelous. One thing - if you have any trouble with going up and down stairs you might be challenged. Otherwise - give yourself a treat 🇮🇹☺️👍👌

The owner of the hotel, Rachel Han, is a wonderful host, she is also a wine degustator, so she can give very good advice on which wine should be served with which meal. Since we went on a tour, the rooms were distributed according to arrival. Unfortunately, we were given a room with a roof view, but the room right next to us had a beautiful view of the valley. The sheets and the room in general are very clean, but do not forget to take slippers with you. In Italy, they did not provide disposable slippers in any hotel. It may seem very poor for a person accustomed to Turkish breakfast, but it may be sufficient for an Italian breakfast. So you won't eat eggs or olives, but you won't be hungry.

A hotel with a beautiful location. View from the rooftop (restaurant) and a beautiful swimming pool one floor higher. There is ample parking in the side street (approx. 200 meters). Room is basic but excellent price/quality ratio. Good shower. Breakfast is more than sufficient and dinner is really very good. The hostess is very helpful and thinks along with the guest. Truly fantastic. Perfect base to discover Tuscany.

Very beautiful location, a beautiful house on top of a hill in Tuscany. The service was very kind. The room is simple but clean and everything works well. I recommend the restaurant, especially if it's not cold and you can stay at the top, with a stunning view.
