Located in a building of great historical importance in Lamezia Terme, the hotel impresses with its fusion of history and innovative concept, thanks to an award-winning renovation that places emphasis on sustainability and attention to many details. I love that it's not perfect, but absolutely made with a lot of love. The booking process, check in and check out were simple. My junior suite on the third floor was spacious, featuring a clean, modern design, with a balcony and a large bathroom. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was exceptional, with a clear recommendation for the Italian option which included excellent coffee and croissants, superior to those in nearby bars. The hotel offers continental breakfast and always tries to satisfy extra wishes. I haven't tried this. In the afternoon and evening the downstairs bar offers a quality selection of local beers, drinks and food, with a certain (I wouldn't say obvious) influence of New York/Munich bar culture from my time in the US by the owner. One downside is parking and public transportation, but the hotel makes up for it with an airport transfer service. I saw some guests parking nearby, but I gave up and returned to the hotel's transfer offer. In summary, Albergo Centrale is an excellent choice in Lamezia, balancing 4-5 star rooms with an exceptional breakfast, concept and service, making it a solid 5-star experience. I'll be back.
