We stayed here at the end of our 8 day trip and all I can say was it was beautiful. Taumeasina was very busy (Mothers Day weekend) but that didn't stop the wonderful service we were welcomed with lei's and welcome drinks and escorted to our beautiful room (210) perfectly close but far enough away for some peace and quiet. I travelled with my Mother and 2 sisters and wished we had booked here first and stayed for a little bit longer. We also attended the FIA FIA night and that was such a good show and so fun. The only negative was not being having the best seat for FIA FIA night as we were located closer to the back and I think due yo the weather (rainging) they had set up under the shelter which from where we were seating was hard to see most of the show but from what we did see it was a beautiful show. We hope to be back again soon to enjoy the beautiful resort and its amenities.

The views are gorgeous! The spa was lovely. The friendliest employees were Junior and Vitale. It would have been nice to have a place to relax where kids aren't allowed ie. one of the pools or restaurants.

The hotel environment is okay, but the hotel management is extremely poor. I have stayed in so many hotels, and I have never encountered a cabinet with urine in the bedside table of the room and the cleaners have not been found. It is a very bad hotel.

We celebrated our first year wedding anniversary and Toa was the most amazing host! So quick, efficient, courteous, attentive! I wish i could steal him away and take me to every other hotel. The food was amazing we were so full we couldn’t even finish dessert and thats a first! Toa organised a special message on our dessert plates and it was something so small but it made us so happy and made it an even more special night!

We loved Taumeasina Resort and the staff! Our room attendant - what a superstar Faanati was. Went the extra mile and the room was always sparkly & clean and the fresh flowers were the best! The Tau Boys - Junior, Casper, Sean, Junior, Poni, Pesamino! Always fun, attentive, and informative. We learnt so much at the Bon Fire with Junior. I don’t think we would’ve got a more culture experience anywhere else on the island. The snorkelling was great, canoe and paddle boards readily available, themed nights were fun! Reception staff always ready to help. Sightseeing Samoa was fabulous! Could have had a better pillow. Potato chips and ice creams near the water sports would be a great idea. The baked bread was different (not sure if that’s the way it is baked there) and it would be nice to have screens on the room doors so you can leave it open if you don’t want to use the AC. And we totally wish we had found the cookies before day 6!!! We will definitely be back to Taumeasina

Went to their bar for a Karaoke night out. First impression was that the resort was beautiful & appeared to offer finesse or services expected to be "a class above the rest" Unfortunately it fell short of expectations. For such an establishment with sterile looking walls & modern interior design, the service was horrendous. NONE of the BARTENDERS wore gloves & NO ONE was washing their hands in-between service. Long dirty nails & unwashed hands was not included in the drink menu. It was disgusting. Upon arrival we had planned to sit where all the action was but whilst looking for a favourable seat I overheard many customers (who were also guests in their hotel) complaining about the long hours of wait for their drinks. Some had returned their drinks. Others simply cancelled the orders. It was an interesting experience as I did not see any floor manager attempt to mitigate the issue. After seeing these events unfold before me we decided to sit by the bar and watch the service. NOTHING to see!MEDIOCRE BAR SERVICES. Waiters attending to patrons were hurdled together enjoying the karaoke almost oblivious to the customers who have been seeking service. Bartending/mixology appears to be foreign here. I do NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

My family and I had a fantastic experience at Taumeasina! Ifo went above and beyond to ensure that our rooms were always clean and promptly tended to any service requests, especially when it came to me and my kids in room 608. We truly enjoyed our stay, and Ifo's exceptional service made it even more special. Thank you to Ifo and the team at Taumeasina for making our stay so memorable!

This is way overpriced actually. You’re paying to wake up to the magnificent view. If you're happy to spend a fortune on a view, then you have my recommendations. Customer Service has an undertone of attitude and is also very slack. I called three times to get a blanket and this was not done. There is litter about the resort in some areas and there really should be an adults and children pool as it is not relaxing having the splashing and yelling kids in both pools. Then the food. I enjoyed Salmon pasta and chicken soup, however, the Margarita pizza was terrible like cardboard with the wrong sauce. Could not eat one slice. There was a loud karaoke and loud music most nights thumping into my room which is okay in some situations, but having spent over $400 a night I was expecting some serenity and also a nice breakfast spread to wake up to. The breakfast spread as it was, was average. Overall quite disappointed. Food and drinks are too expensive. Not a 4.5-star resort in my opinion. You were given one 600ml bottle of water for the duration of the stay and had to pay $5 per bottle if you wanted extra!
