I'm just telling you that it's not worth the 4 stars. Shower without hot water, drain not working, to prevent the water from invading the bathroom they decided to put an aluminum border. The breakfast was terrible, they serve the biscuits in the original packaging. The friendly breakfast and reception staff do everything they can to please the customers. The bedroom wardrobe was ruined. We need to invest in the structure

My wife and I stayed at the Donizetti hotel. I don't want to dwell on breakfast because it would be like shooting at the Red Cross, but I would like to describe our misadventure. Starting from the premise that a 4-star hotel should have a night porter, but from 10pm there is no one left. During check-in we were given a code to open a secondary entrance, but not the right instructions to do so. Unable to enter, my wife called the number at the entrance. We were answered by a rude and arrogant man who allowed himself to say "F*ck off" and hang up in our faces without giving the right instructions. The next day we find out that the person we spoke to is the director. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Despite the kindness of the two girls who alternate at the reception, the Donizetti is in total squalor. It is no longer the hotel I frequented years ago. A breakfast without art or part. The room without a TV or music. It looks like an abandoned environment. We are not.

The staff is welcoming, kind and helpful, the structure is a little dated but average. The rooms are comfortable, quite clean and tidy. Breakfast was minimal but good. Advised.

Una pessima esperienza. La camera era impregnata di odore di fumo, impossibile da mandare via. Ho lasciato le finestre spalancate per ore ma la puzza è rimasta ed è stato fastidiosissimo, per di più ci dormivo con mio figlio... I letti non erano matrimoniali ma singoli, la colazione era terribile. Il mio cappuccino sapeva anch'esso di fumo e non sono riuscito a berlo.

La mia impressione è che questo albergo faccia il suo onesto lavoro per coloro che sono di passaggio da / per l'aeroporto (dal quale dista circa 5 minuti di macchina); nonostante ciò ritengo che, applicando lo standard con cui le persone classificano gli alberghi, 4 stelle siano eccessive. Le camere sono adeguatamente spaziose e arredate (non abbiamo capito se l'aria condizionata funzionava); i letti sono comodi; il bagno è funzionale. La colazione, invece, è decisamente da bocciare: a un buon cappuccino fa contrasto un "misero" tavolino, dove si trovano un paio di crostate confezionate, due confezioni di biscotti (almeno si potrebbero mettere in qualche vassoio e non lasciare nelle confezioni...), qualche fettina di prosciutto/formaggio, qualche cornetto e poco altro. L'altra situazione apparentemente strana è che non abbiamo (quasi) visto personale: la persona addetta alla reception (peraltro molto cordiale) era la stessa che si occupava delle colazioni. Questo albergo non mi ha particolarmente impressionato, ma per passare una notte può andare bene.

Struttura un po' datata ed in fase di decadimento, non è possibile che la reception alle 22 chiuda e durante la notte nn c'è nessuno a disposizione. Le note positive sono la ragazza alla reception di origini cinesi che ha fatto di tutto per risolvere il problema della camera non pronta e la pulizia della camera, il resto è totalmente da rivedere e riorganizzare.
