Comfy beds, clean unit. Plenty of utensils, pots, pans, etc to cook some meals there. We were in a two bedroom unit above the Subway. Quiet, and easy walk down Main Street. The trim on the pullout bed was unattached/broken, though didn’t bother us as we didn’t use it. We were disappointed we weren’t permitted to use the gym in the main hotel building, we assumed all guests had access to gym, not just those in main building.

Pleasant, economical hotel. Good location; friendly staff. Breakfast only so-so. Room was comfortable with a sofa and easy chair and plenty of storage, BUT NO READING LAMP NEXT TO EITHER THE SOFA OR THE EASY CHAIR. Bed was comfortable; good room heating and cooling.

Clean, lots of space. We stayed in a two bedroom sweet with a sleeper sofa. Fully equipped kitchen including nice plates and silverware. We didn't cook, but did not feel limited in reheating options. Very friendly and helpful staff at the check in desk. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second trip to Lake Placid staying at the Lake Placid Inn: Main Street. The location is centrally located on Main Street, perfect walking distance for in town activities. We stayed in the 2 bdm/2 bath (sleeps 6 or 8 with pullout) - plenty of room for our group. This is a boutique hotel (more like an apartment) and check-in is at a separate location. The owners are very accommodating, place is spacious, clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. I will be a repeat customer & would highly recommend - it's a great value.

These apartments are perfect for guests who want more space than an hotel room. The rooms were clean and had the basics for a stay. There needed to be more furniture for seating. There was only a sleep sofa which was good for two people but the room is supposed to sleep six. The kitchen was not well equipped. Again, not enough glasses and dishes for six people. Our microwave did not work. The bathroom was large but needed storage. It is at one end of town, within walking distance of restaurants and the lake.

If you’re going to the rinks, this place is directly across the street and walkable to all Main St shops & restaurants. The interior was nice. Clean 2 bedroom rental with working appliances. A few wonky closet door openings but manageable. If you do not care about hotel amenities like daily cleaning service or pool, this place is a great choice. However, beware of the Subway sandwich shop smell. It is located below the rooms and the smell constantly filled our room. We stayed in room 208 so, we can only confirm that it happened there. Otherwise, great stay in nice location.
