My favorite hotel in Lake Placid! Great location, easy parking and walkable. The lobby is lovely with a fireplace and sparkling wine!
Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Staff is courteous and available.
They have many categories of rooms on ******* and it's a little bit difficult to know exactly what type of room you will have (if that is important for you).
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and go back regularly.

There is so much I absolutely loved about this location! First the smell!!! Omg when you walk in it smells like Christmas! The lobby is stunning, the staff was so lovely and welcoming! We visited in November for my birthday which just so happened to be during the Can/Am games so it was quite busy in the town but the hotel was quiet and comfortable! The free coffee in the morning as well as the hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby in the afternoon after a chilly walk around mirror Lake was just the perfect touch! We will definitely be returning! Thank you for making my birthday so special!

Everything about the High Peaks Resort was fantastic. For what I paid, I couldn't believe the dining options, the array of walkable areas in Lake Placid, and the overall experience. The room had the feel of a mountain lodge. The restaurant offered a salmon dish I loved. I could walk to Mirror Lake and the Olympic museum. Everything was much better than I expected.

Everything is very aesthetically pleasing here, and the bathrooms are amazing! The only faults I found was that you don’t get a microwave in your room and if you want one its an extra $15 a day. So don’t plan to be able to eat any leftovers. Also a random complaint … no clocks anywhere. Better wear a watch.

Always love staying here. Staff is so friendly. Love the rooms. Easy access to rooms from parking facility. Everything in Lake Placid is within walking distance. My only disappointment this time was no fire in the lobby fireplace.
