Excellent hotel - very newly constructed. Room was well equipped, clean, and modern. Hotel restaurant/bar was very good, with nice menu, prices, and service. Only quibble is that the soundproofing in between rooms was not quite as good as it might have been with a new hotel - the adjacent room had a crying child that we could hear late at night (unlucky for all, including the family).

Needs more soundproofing as we could hear the tv from the room next door at 12:30am and the kids running on the floor above us for 3 hours. Unfortunate that they didn’t install a hot tub as the pool was chilly.

I was very surprised at the fact that I was put at the very end of an empty hall across from an closed stairwell when I clearly stated I had a 5 year old with me. Incase of emergency what were we suppose to do? I know there were other empty rooms
The young man who was the night clerk on Saturday night was so busy playing on his phone.that he couldnt be bothered answering my 2 questions. The Haystack Bistro had excellent food!

Brand new, beautiful hotel. Clean, neat, gorgeous facility and rooms. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful, with the exception of the bar/restaurant staff-- they were excellent.
Would definitely stay here again.

Just opened 2 months ago and everything was great. Food is excellent and head chef was very personable. Only downside was distance to town, not really walkable.

Stayed here in October during the first week they opened. Rooms were clean, big, and modern. They were kind enough to give us a complimentary room upgrade as we were celebrating a special occasion. Great location - close to shops and restaurants. Only con is that the pool could’ve been warmer.

Front desk attendant was rude at check in. Was locked in bathroom for ~15 minutes due to sliding door malfunction. Nobody at front desk answered initially, took about 10 mins for maintenance to come. TV did not work for majority of stay.

This hotel is brand new to the area. We might have been the first people to stay in our room. The rooms are beautiful and designed well. A few issues we ran into - not great for young kids. The walls are THIN. You can hear conversations below, above and next door.so if you have early risers like my kids, be aware, you’ll have to be quiet. That being said, there’s not any place for young kids to go. There’s not a lobby where you can sit and have breakfast without paying for it. We purchased breakfast and had to eat in our rooms instead of finding an open table in the lobby like most hotels. In fact, there were so many kids staying at the hotel the lobby it completely over taken by the families and the hockey tourney taken place. Soda bottles knocked over, food smeared all over. They even shut down the pool since they couldn’t handle the amount of kids in the facility. There were kids playing hockey in the halls and running up and down. The location is great. Across from a pharmacy, gas station and grocery store. This is a huge hotel - just needs better management. We’ll stay back at the Hampton Inn where they have an open lobby and pool that’s managed well.
