Write next to the bike path and I was there to ride. All the good stuff I expect from a Best Western (good mattress, sparkling clean room, plenty of pillows, reasonably quiet, and a nice hot breakfast) plus the windows opened over the bike path so I could sleep with them open. Responsive staff. All this for half the price I paid for a much inferior room in another town on this trip.

Clean good beds and pillows, friendly staff, great little bar/lounge with good food and friendly waitress/bartender. because of the situation that came, we asked for a 2 hour extension and they said that would not be a problem. We will definitely will be staying there again,

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet rooms. Pool was small but clean. Breakfast had a nice variety. Happy to have found a great place at good rate after being disappointed by many other hotels that looked much nicer in photos than what they were upon arrival.

The location of this BW is great. The UWEC campus is only a few blocks away. The Chippewa River Bike Trail is one block away. You can take the trail into the city along the Chippewa River or head out into the countryside. The BW was quiet, beds very comfortable and staff friendly and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Two nights with little sleep. "Klieg Lights" in parking lot and drapes that wouldn't close! Handicapped by degenerative disc disease and a failed back surgery with a king bed like a hammock - in a "Handicapped room"! NEVER gonna do THAT again!!

I would not recommend this Best Western, they have not updated their amenities in several years. Great front desk service. Breakfast was not good at all.

THE GOOD: Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast had some good options each morning. Rooms were spacious. Plenty of parking. Fairly isolated but safe area. THE BAD: In need of some serious updating. Furniture in the room is old. Walls are thin- I could hear the TV in the next room. My bathroom kept making a high pitched noise - I alerted front desk and they just said that that just happens. Iron didn’t work - just spewed out water; asked for new one but never got it. When I requested maid service they did everything but my bed. Most outlets on the lamps don’t work. OVERALL: I won’t stay here again if I’m in Eau Claire.

This location is great, just off the interstate and close to main roads in town. The prices are good and breakfast is pretty good too. They have a pool and hot tub for relaxing, a fitness room and the dining area is always available to play games or sit with friends and family too.
