The place is nice - little aged but clean and a good resort. Excluding the bartender who was great, the rest of the staff need to get a bit more customer oriented. I ordered a room, and paid extra, with a lake view balcony. When I got to my room I was facing another condo complex. I phoned and their reaction at the front desk was “if you were a floor higher you could see it” my reaction was “but I’m not” - they couldn’t fix so basically I paid more for nothing. Additionally when asking about hiking passes they didn’t have much recommendations or feedback and told me to go to 7-11 to buy passes (why not at the front desk); when we asked to turn on the fire place in the lobby lounge, first night no problem, 2nd night we were told they dont turn it on in the summer - after pushing the issue 3x they did - this was a gas fireplace with fake wood so it was about pushing a button. They also knew very little about what was going on and where else to eat - little surprised considering this is a lodge. Place was nice; area is beautiful; but management needs to get more customer oriented. Staff not well trained.
