Took a chance which paid off. Great location and a nice rooftop bar to eat and drink at while watching the sunset. Rooms were reasonably spacious and a large bathroom, although not much space for toiletries etc. A little run down, but seemed to appeal to the charm of the place.

Disappointing experience. 1. Hotel's parking is a block away across the street. Parking spots are tiny, larger cars will have hard time parking. 2. Air conditioning units are those portable things on wheels. Right in the room. Very loud, turns on/off all night. 3. Windows open sliding up - don't stay open, too old/falling apart. Also have no screen. 4. Room is the tiniest I ever seen in hotels. 5. Bathroom sink - stand alone sink with no space to put toiletries on. Pros: Clean. Great location right near the beach. Rooftop bar, restaurant onsite and great Mexican restaurant across the street. Friendly service, front desk person was very helpful.

The rooms were really dirty. The beds were full of hair and when we got there the toilet had poop in it and the room Smelled. For the amount of money spent this place was extremely dirty.

Old school charm, very comfortable bed, friendly staff, relaxing lounge area with fireplace, great rooftop bar/restaurant, convenient parking, just charming. Rooms are European style and not American size. That’s what makes it so charming. A must stay place.

Our 12th Anniversary @ Casa De Camino. The wife and I were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary at this hotel. Our stay was nice our room was a lot nicer than our previous stay in there Spanish room. I had indicated during our reservation that we were celebrating 12 year of marriage and thought that maybe the hotel would offer a glass of champagne or sparkling cider or even some type of appetizer on the roof top bar but nothing. I was a bit disappointed but our overall stay was nice.

Overall it was a good stay at this property. Recently remodeled, super cute inside. The rooftop bar was convenient although the cocktail options were minimal. The bed was not very comfortable though and the surrounding area was not quiet. Was woken up at 5:30am by loud music that went on for an hour. By that time I just ended up staying awake. Also, no coffee maker in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful though. Definitely pros and cons with this stay.
