The lady has a very good attitude and helps our family to arrange the itinerary. The town is not big and has a very breath of life!

Very welcoming front desk guy, enthusiastically guiding us to buy tickets for Glacier Park online (in Spanish it is a bit difficult indeed), saving us the queue time when driving into the park. Despite the power outage on the second night of the stay, it was quickly restored in about half an hour. Enjoying the lake green Argentine lake flowing down from the glacier national park and the sky in circles of strong winds in front of the window, it seems to be back to the Antarctic eight years ago...

We made a great choice in selecting this hotel.

This is an excellent place to stay in Calafate. The cabanas overlook lake Argentina and the Southern Andes and are just outside the main town so nice and quiet but only a 20 minute walk to the centre. If you don’t fancy the walk then taxis are only 2 dollars and easy to get. Our cabana was warm and secure largely wood built and beautifully appointed. It is in the ‘duplex’ style with the lounge, kitchen and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. The hosts, Alejandro and Eduardo were terrific. They were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with and gave us plenty of local information both before and during our visit helping us arrange trips and visits and giving us what turned out to be great advice on eating and drinking and also gave us the best ‘blue’ exchange rate we had during our entire holiday in Argentina. Breakfast was very nice and included bread and cakes and preserves made by the hosts. I would absolutely recommend this accommodation and would not hesitate to return. Thanks Guys. Nice hotel, very well located. Breakfast and staff all good. The swimming pool is very good also, warm, clean and good size. We did not use the spa services but looked nice. The only thing I think should be better is the gym - not many equipments - and the time it opens.. the gym opens with the spa at 10 am I think.. it could open earlier as a lot of people like to work out early in the morning and leave spa services as it is.

The hotel is nice and clean. Personnel was helpful and attentive any time you needed something. Breakfast was ok. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk from downtown. The room was comfortable no need to have air conditioning, we opened the windows and felt safe. Our room was comfortable, located on the 2nd. Floor not that far from the breakfast area, but they have a door that is kept shut so you do not hear much noise when they are arranging the area for breakfast. Overall we had a great experience. We recommend you to visit Perito Moreno and Estancia Cristina with the 4 x 4 experience. Thank you!!

We are incredibly happy with our 5nights stay at Poincenot! I had forgotten that we booked a twin bedroom so at check in, I was asking if they have a room with double beds instead, without really hoping for too much. The lady at reception actually went above and beyond, walked up and down & checked a few rooms for us, although in the end we needed to take the twin room which was fine. Breakfast was great everyday, not too much option but can get your morning going for sure. What I loved most was the housekeeping! They turned our bed down daily, kept our room nice and clean which was a joy to come back to after a long day hike. We put the twin beds together and the next day when we returned, they made it a double bed by adding some extra mattress, what a star! I would highly recommend this place - though it’s a bit of a walk from the bus station but you will be surrounded by restaurants and shops anyway.

Excellent location, very close to the main avenue where all the restaurants, shops, coffees, bars are located. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. In my opinion the breakfast could offer more fruits, honey and eggs. And the checkout time could be later…. 10:00AM is too early for a checkout.

This was the least favorite of the all hotels we stayed in on our trip, but on the positive side we found the desk staff to be extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is very basic. The photos on Tripadvisor make it look really good but in real life the place is on the edge of shabby. We like simplicity but the rooms are spartan. Little conveniences are missing - like a shelf in the bathroom, a large mirror in the room and a bench for a suitcase. Things like this, that are standard in other hotels, are forgotten here. It has a motel feel. Sounds echo across the hotel and you can hear even normal level conversations. The breakfast is also basic because the kitchen is tiny. There is a steep downhill/uphill walk to the center of town. On the upside, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and the staff is very helpful. It's a decent enough place but completely unremarkable in every way. If I return to El Calafate I would stay elsewhere.

Although the hotel on the hillside of the suburbs is remote, it is located on the way to the glacier, and all the cars going to the glacier pass through this place. As the hotel is located on a hillside overlooking the entire Argentinian lake and glacier town, the view is very beautiful. From the hotel to the hotel to take a taxi to the restaurant in the town to eat, the one-way fare is about 150 yuan, about 50 yuan. The rooms in the hotel are clean and tidy, with the atmosphere of a family holiday home with large beds and cots for a total of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. After I stay with my boss for two nights, I decided to bring my family come her again for weekend !
