My team and I recently had the pleasure of staying and producing a photoshoot at Galpón del Glaciar, a farm in Patagonia, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning natural beauty of one of the most breathtaking locations in the world. The landscape provided an incredible backdrop that elevated every shot we took. The staff at Galpón del Glaciar were exceptional—warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, making the entire production process seamless and enjoyable. Their knowledge of the area and commitment to service truly enhanced our experience. Management was excellent, coordinating everything with precision and ensuring that all logistical aspects of our stay and shoot were handled smoothly. Their attention to detail and dedication to providing a top-notch experience did not go unnoticed. Overall, our time at Galpón del Glaciar was unforgettable. Beautiful relaxing stay at this historic Estancia. The staff were kind, knowledgeable and gracious. The horses back ride was mesmerizing. The food delicious. Highly recommended! Very receptive management help with trips to the Glacier.

Recommended by our travel agency Rixnerdmc.com we had some memorable days here. Beautiful views of Lago Argentino from the spacious and stylishly furnished room, relaxing walks directly on the lake shore, interesting insights into the daily life of an estancia and an excellent cuisine made the stay an unforgettable experience.

The perfect place to stay in El Calafate: midway between the town and the national park, and on the shore of the astonishing Lake Argentino. The hotel has an exceptional vibe, a combination of the breathtaking landscape, traditional Patagonian architecture, well-thought extra activities, good food, and a world-quality staff. Agustina, Andrés, and Paula make a well-rounded team, each contributing with different skills, a deep knowledge of the place, and a warm personality. The horse-riding experience, led by Paula, was incomparable. We rode for over an hour on sheep pastures, dunes, and the stony shore of the lake. The beautiful, sure-footed horses were well-trained and treated with care. On a different note, the croissants at breakfast tasted as good as in any fancy café in Buenos Aires, but you can enjoy them with a view to one of the most exceptional places in the world. The rooms were simple, nicely decorated, and extremely clean. No doubt, we will stay there again if we have the fortune to come back to El Calafate.

Magnifique endroit avec vue sur le lac. Les chambres sont correctes et les lits assez bons. La salle de bain est minuscule par contre et l’eau chaude assez aléatoire. Le restaurant est très bien avec une magnifique vue sur le lac et le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. L’estancia est bien située proche de El Calafate et sur la route du Perito Moreno. Au calme absolu! La balade à cheval était super!

Avons passé une nuit dans cette estancia lors de notre périple argentin. Cadre magnifique et exceptionnel avec vue sur les étendues de patagonie et le lac, les chambres et SDB sont très correctes et c'est calme. Le petit déjeuner est correct et avons très bien mangé (gouteux et copieux) un soir un asado de mouton. Avons été reçus un après midi avec un goûter sympa et avons participé à une tonte de moutons et dressage de moutons. Nous avons pu faire une très belle balade dans ce cadre magnifique. Ils proposent aussi des balades à cheval. Là où cela se complique c'est que le personnel a été limite détestable. Mauvais accueil, repas du soir interrompu juste après le dessert. On avait l'air de les embêter. Et dans le lot il y avait une française. Espérons que nous sommes tombés dans un jour sans et que ces jours sans ne soient pas trop nombreux.

Espectacular lugar para descansar y hacer base para distintas excursiones . Staff súper amable, habitaciones muy lindas, solo sonidos de pájaros y viento. Un lugar perfecto para vivir la verdadera vida de campo, conociendo el proceso completo de esquila viendo una de estas y observando las distintas estaciones. Es un ambiente que conserva lo tradicional, lo histórico y está muy bien explicado por los guías. La estancia ofrece unas increíbles cabalgatas con caballos de muy buena calidad, recorriendo tanto la orilla del Lago Argentino como las típicas estepas del paisaje Patagonico.

Durant notre voyage en patagonie nous avons bénéficié d un temps exceptionnel ensoleillé et chaud. Nous avons séjourné dans cette estancia 1 nuit c était très bien. Très bon accueil visite du site démonstration du rassemblement des moutons grâce àux chiens très expérimentés ainsi que la tonte de mouton. La soirée faite d asado d agneau excellent et petit spectacle de tango. Notre chambre sympa avec un petit salon donnant sur cette nature magnifique et cet endroit de carte postale. Petit déjeuner tres correct.Le staff vêtu de vêtements traditionnels des gauchos à l écoute et très sympa. Je garde un très bon souvenir de cette soirée avec notre groupe.

Je n’ai pas l’habitude de décrier un endroit mais là je dois m’y résoudre. Dommage pour l’endroit car il a une vue de rêve. Chambre vieillotte mais le souci est qu’il y fait froid. Ils ont coupé le chauffage car uniquement 2 chambres étaient occupées. Il fait 0 degrés dehors et nous devons dormir habillés. Pour avoir de l’eau à peu près chaude il faut la laisser couler au moins 10mn. La douche a un mini jet et gicle dans tous les sens. La literie date d’un autre temps. Plus de 2 heures à table et sans avoir de plats locaux. Le barbecue Asado n’est disponible que lorsqu’il y a des groupes qui partent à 5h du matin sachant que les bruits s’entendent très bien. Selon la personne à l’accueil les explications sur les activités sont très sommaires et on passe donc à côté d’un certain nombre de choses. Dommage car l’endroit est merveilleux.
