"Good central place to stay with friendly owners to help with local travel. Also short walk to extend your tourist visa at immigration as well as a passport photo & photocopy shop nearby. Owners can help with trips to Kohs Chang, Mak and Kood. Also with border runs to Cambodian border as well as Koh Kong and Siem Reap. So its a good place to stay between the islands & road trips. Rooms are clean and there is a terrace facing the sea."

"In the afternoon, I arrived in Bangkok and took a five-hour car ride to the Koh Chang Pier. I only had to find a place to rest and go to the island the next day. The other one was booked first, but it felt unsafe and cancelled the hotel. The environment is very good in all aspects. The main owner, Bill, is a nice guy. Breakfast is delicious in the morning. recommend"

"Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!"

"Let’s talk about the definition first It is very suitable for passengers who transfer from Bangkok/Pattaya/Chiang Mai to Koh Chang. The B&B in the village is quite quiet, and there is not much to eat around at night. In fact, we booked this hotel but when we arrived, the boss said it was full and arranged us to stay at another villager's home. It’s also very comfortable~ The boss's son is very cute."

"We lived in both bungalows and rooms of this hotel. Everything is great! Hospitable hosts 🩷 They refill drinking water every day, cleaning every two days or on request. Very good. Linen, towels, everything is clean. We like this area of ​​the island, we get around by car. It is a little far from the center, but you can take a bike. There are breakfasts for an additional fee, which is very convenient! We will definitely come back, thank you!"
