Hotel la Majun

This hotel was wonderfully relaxing. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Their English was good, though I tried not to rely on it. Big smiles from everyone, even the cleaning staff in the hall. Food: The breakfast was diverse and delicious. Fruit was awesome. The wood finishes on the walls around the hotel were really warm and comfortable as well. Head waiter arranged custom menus for my friend with food sensitivities at dinner. Spa: The spa area was well equipped and relaxing. Used the sauna after a wet cold bike ride. There is section with paid offerings, but did not do any of those. There was a bike/boot room for storing outdoor gear. This was helpful when it rained so that we could leave wet jackets and boots away from the room. La Villa is a little calmer than Corvara, if you like a less busy town. Still had good options for bike rentals and a nice outdoor store across the street.

We had been staying in Canazei for four nights and now we were moving to La Villa. This was mid-September and it was snowing. Not snowing, it was a blizzard. Big fun with mountain passes and 50m visibility. We arrived at La Majun and WOW, what a hotel. The owner greeted us and told us the spa had been opened early (normally at 3PM). We got a tour of the hotel, restaurant, bar, spa, pool area. Incredible. When we checked in the electronic key did not work so they told us to take the suite on the corner. Very nice, now we had views from two sides of the hotel. The staff was so happy to help us, they all made us feel so welcome. This place rocks. If you are considering staying in this area of the Dolomites please consider this hotel, you will not be sorry. They had some great grappa and armagnac choices and the menu in the restaurant changed daily. All of the amenities were spot on. Great people. Stay here!!

La Majun is a beautiful stay in La Villa - very close to the smaller lifts taking you to the main lift up… We travelled with two of our kids stayed in a junior suite next to a twin on the second floor. Rooms are super comfortable and pretty big. The half board at this hotel is really amazing - we simply ate too much - positively speaking! And the staff here - especially in the restaurant went all the way to provide us with a wonderful experience. Thanks to everyone at the La Majun.

Fantastic mountain hotel. Lovely comfortable rooms, great restaurant, not far from lifts, great bar. Nothing more to say other than its a bit on the high price side but everywhere in the area is comparable. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

The hotel, staff, facilities and location are amazing! This was the second time we stayed at this hotel with the wonderful hospitality of the owners Natalie and Roberta. This time we also brought five families of our closest friends. What and incredible week we had together! This is an independent, family run business with wonderful staff, some of whom have been working at the hotel for over 30 years! It is obvious why Natalie and Roberta retain such loyal staff: they are kind and treat their staff and guests like family. Now let's talk about the food! The hotel restaurant is first class. The breakfasts are included and offer both al a carte and buffet with everything you can imagine. The food is always fresh and delicious. If you choose to have full board or just pay to have dinner, you will not be disappointed! It is like dining at a Michelin star restaurant! The Spa is luxurious and large with wonderful quiet rooms for relaxation, multiple saunas, steam rooms, cold baths, jacuzzi, and my favorite: the Panorama Sauna with the most wonderful view of the inimitable Dolomite mountains. There is a large bar that can accommodate groups of friends which often has excellent live music or DJs playing. We had too much fun! The best kept secret is the Wine Bar in the wine cellar. For those of you who love wine La Majun has and outstanding selection of local, regional and other Italian and International wines. Natalie is a qualified sommelier and has an extensive knowledge of the cellar which is managed by her friendly father. She focuses on wine that is excellent but not expensive, so the few après glasses will delight but not break the bank. As you can see, I cannot recommend La Majun highly enough! I will be back.

What an amazing place. From the warm welcome, filling breakfasts, entertainment in the bar and boutique style bedrooms we had the best stay. Roberta and her team (family!) are amazing. They will help you find skis, bus passes, restaurants and more - no request is too much. Always greeted with a smile the team at Majun provide a stay that goes above and beyond any normal experience. You feel quite sad to leave!
