Camping de la Baie

Stayed with Eurocamp for 3 nights at end of our holiday. Site is extremely small & basic but well kept. More suitable for camping or caravaning. Our mobile home was not cheap for our 3 night stay and I can say it should be decommissioned. Honestly smelt damp the minute we walked in. It Was extremely dated 1980- 1990 decor. It Was clean I will give them that. Decking around mobile was sagging in parts & is only a matter of time before it gives way. Plastic garden furniture was cracked. Shower tray was leaking (probably cause of damp smell). Very poor value from Eurocamp. Site staff themselves were pleasant. Communal toilets etc was clean. Very small pool but it was heated. Lifeguard not always on duty. Shop , snack bar & restaurant not on site, they are independent across the road on beach front. Shop very basic stocked & expensive for the essentials, but supermarkets a short drive away. Didn't eat in restaurant as it seemed pricey and to be honest we only wanted pizza which we got from snack bar.

Just love La Baie Informal busy but not crowded Access within 5 minutes to sea.. glorious.. and the river walk into Trinitie also glorious.. Book through site not eurocamp.. far better choice of accommodation.. rather disappointed with eurocamp.. We go in June and September.. perfect ..

Camping in France at it's best! Pitches a decent size but can take some manoevring into but hey ho - life is meant to be a challenge occasionally . Right next to a beautiful beach with fabulous walks from the door - Trinite sur Mer and Carnac both easily walkable - so worth parking up and exploring on foot for a few days ! Reception staff very polite and welcoming. The bathrooms were sparkling and spotless and cleaned several times a day. Plenty of piping hot water. Grass and bushes well maintained . Pool small but water warm. will be back !

5 beaches inside 15 minutes walk; helpful reception; small pool. Felt safe - locked at nights. Reps Polish & freindly. Caravans a bit tired but ok. Ideal for families with young children; not so much maybe for teens? Accessible by train (Auray) please modest taxi.

Small, clean, well maintained campsite with friendly, helpful staff. Great location for beaches and Trinité sur mer, easy walking access, we took our bikes which were useful, free shuttle bus available to town as well. We had a large pitch for our camper van and tent, quiet camp, mainly families and couples staying around us. Handy shop and bakers just off the site, toilets and showers all very clean and well maintained, bbqs available onsite, though we took our own. Nice swimming pool on site, but not huge. Would recommend this site without hesitation!
