Steer clear… the reality and the photos are so far apart. We booked a twin room and the beds were no wider than camp beds such that I fell out of bed when turning over in the night. Aircon didn’t work well. Staff were disinterested in customer service. And the bathroom was so tiny it was hard to move about in. Very very disappointing and poor value for money. If you are driving, don’t be fooled by the ‘paid on-street parking available’ sales pitch - the nearest we could find was 15 minutes’ walk away… sadly, I would not recommend

Time for renovation. An old and humid building with tiny rooms. The single room was literally a "half" room! Not to mention the bathroom... It was May and the heat was on, because of the humidity. The only advantage it is that is close to the city center. I think this hotel is overpriced.

Hotel Birillo is a very good budget hotel that makes the best of what they have. The rooms and bathrooms are very tiny. The bed was clean. The location was excellent. They also provide free parking at the site. The only negative is the internet connection at the hotel. It was a reasonable stay for a few nights at Cinque Terre.

Very clean hotel and abundant breakfast run by friendly and helpful staff, the only flaw is the tiny bathroom. I recommend, when booking, to request the room with the air conditioner.

Abbiamo soggiornato all’Hotel Birillo a metà aprile. La posizione è ottima perché si trova in centro a La Spezia, il che può anche essere scomodo per il parcheggio perché è difficile da trovare (anche se nelle vicinanze ci sono molti parcheggi a pagamento e non) ma fortunatamente noi siamo riusciti a parcheggiare in 1 dei 2 posti davanti all’Hotel che sono proprio di proprietà dello stesso. Le camere sono piccole, si vede che sono datate ma sono tenute molto bene e soprattutto sono super pulite!! (un dettaglio non da poco!) La colazione è piccolina ma offre un po’ di tutto, dai panini, alle torte e dolci fatti in casa, yogurt, uova, frittate, croissant (con non ben indicato il ripieno), marmellate e frutta. Tutto comunque di buona qualità. Il servizio è stato ottimale, le ragazze e il ragazzo sono sempre stati molto gentili e disponibili dall’inizio alla fine.

Hotel 2 stelle situato nel pieno centro di La Spezia. Camere molto belle, ristrutturate da poco con letti molto comodi. Bagno piccolissimo e completamente da ristrutturare: si fa fatica a muoversi e quando si fa la doccia si allaga il pavimento in quanto c'è solo una tendina (peraltro poco igienica) per protezione. Camere molto pulite e silenziose. Personale molto cortese. Ci sono solo 2 posti auto riservati all'hotel sulla strada ma che vanno prenotati con la stanza se si vuole evitare di impazzire a cercare parcheggio. Non viene servita la colazione ma ci sono numerosi bar nei dintorni

L'hotel est tres bien situé L' Accueil très sympathique et prêt à rendre service et vous donne toutes les informations nécessaires, et parlant français. L'hôtel est un peu vétuste avec une légère odeur de renfermé dans les parties commune. La chambre est petite, avec une décoration agréable et moderne Par contre la climatisation est vieille et bruyante; la literie n'est pas de qualité ; les chambres mal insonorisées ; la douche pas large et compliqué à régler la température. La chambre est équipée d'un mini frigo bien pratique.
