Lia Art Hotel

I have been very comfortable at Lia art hotel. The room was nice and comfortable with everything you need. And the location was excellent, close to the centre and next to the port area. Lediana and her afternoon companion (the guys who work at reception) have been very kind at all times. Thank you for making me feel at home. If I return to La Spezia I will stay here again.

I was scammed like others by this "hotel" after making the payment I made the request to arrive at 10 pm which was denied. They charged me the cost of the room without being able to stay. On the phone they hung up on me several times.

The hotel has hidden terms and conditions (cancellation policy). Despite the agreement (you get 20 euros for late check-in), we were not able to check in upon arrival. We were informed that our booking had been cancelled due to a "no show" and that the money would be debited. A room was also not available. Communication was impossible. The hotel owner simply hung up the phone. Despite our presence on site, they did not let us stay overnight and debited 750 euros. We have never experienced anything like this before. Hands off! Scam!

Aside from the very unprofessional communication of the person answering the number mentioned in the booking confirmation message, who identified herself, and who was definitely not an employee, the property has a good quality/price ratio, minimalist but functional furnishings, good cleanliness and a kind and efficient receptionist. We really missed a shelf and a coat hanger in the bathroom, as well as a light point at the headboard of the double bed.

We stayed from 1st to 3rd March and were amazed, friendly staff, large and beautiful room with everything you need, hairdryer, fridge, kettle, TV, daily towel change, large and functional shower, excellent location to reach the seafront or the center. We will definitely be back.

Non ho mai provato così tanto disgusto verso una persona che nemmeno conosco. Le uniche recensioni negative erano sulla scortesia e sgarbatezza della titolare. Tutto confermato, premetto che ho sbagliato in fase di prenotazione, mi sono confuso con il weekend, e volendo prendere la cancellazione , ho invece preso una tripla (eravamo in 2) ma 12 ore dopo rendendomi conto dell'errore mi sono attivato, chiedendo il rimborso anche con penale e questa opzione mi è stata negata come tutte le altre. Sia il cambio nominativo, sia il cambio della settimana (alla settimana prima), anche pagando un supplemento. Sono stato liquidato telefonicamente perché la signora era al mare. Booking ha provato a intermediare ma anche loro sono stati liquidati con un... io sono a cena. Io ho sbagliato e va bene ma prenotare 2 mesi prima e 12 ore dopo chiedere anche solo il cambio nominativo e ricevere peggio di un no come risposta è davvero da pezzenti. Ti auguro di goderteli i soldi, al mare come hai detto tu, oppure in altri luoghi...

Prenotazione tramite Booking. Non erano disponibili le due camere che avevamo prenotato; ci hanno messo un una camera da 4 letti con un solo bagno, per questo inconveniente ci hanno reso 1/4 del costo totale e offerto il parcheggio di fronte all'hotel. Il Wi-Fi non era funzionante con la password fornita. Un vero peccato perché la posizione nel centro di La Spezia è un vantaggio per chi vuole avere la possibilità di visitare la città. La signora, al telefono, è stata parecchio scortese

non ho ancora avuto il "piacere" di fare il check in e già sono stato trattato in brutto modo al telefono tentando di chiedere un'informazione sul check in: mi è stato buttato il telefono in faccia e sono stato preso praticamente a male parole da una persona dello staff (immagino). sarà un piacere pernottare nell'hotel per due notti.
