On 09/07 I made a reservation for 3 people (me, my sister and my 6-year-old niece). Approximately at 6:00 p.m. we checked in and went out to dinner on Avenida del Mar, we were there when there was an earthquake of approx. ***. We quickly went to our accommodation, arriving we found the lady who had previously checked us in, telling us that we had to leave (evacuate) the accommodation and that there were no longer guests there, only us and she was already leaving. We went and got our belongings and left. We called an Uber and went to look for a place to stay (obviously higher up, where it was safe) it was not easy, but it was done... The next day I wrote to ask if I could get a refund and they responded that it was our decision to leave and that the others guests had returned, so there was NO chance to refund. With a *** earthquake, do you think we are going to return, if the accommodation is meters from the sea!?… the region being an area with quite a few tremors, earthquakes do not have a protocol… zero criteria in this situation (not even a percentage ) … it was my 3rd time staying there, what a shame.
