Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos

Stunning property. Beautiful rooms. Exceptional service. Amazing gym. They catered to the kids. The pools were really amazing. We loved the Fourth of July celebration. The food was some of the best food we have ever had. The fish was just incredible.

I just spent the most peaceful, luxurious few days at Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas, and I’m already dreaming about my return. I stayed in a Prime Ocean-View Room with two beds, and it was huge, seriously spacious with room for three adults comfortably (thanks to the pull-out couch), and still felt airy and serene. The ocean view? Absolutely breathtaking. The kind that stops you in your tracks. The entire resort felt incredibly private, like it was reserved just for us. It had this calm, cinematic stillness, like being on a season of White Lotus, but in the best, most peaceful way. The white sand beach is soft, quiet, and the calm, warm water makes you feel like you're on a secluded island. A major highlight? Taking a boat taxi across the water just to grab coffee from their adorable shop, Casena, hands down the best avocado toast and vanilla latte I’ve ever had. Such a fun and unexpected detail that made the experience even more special. We dined at Milos night one, a personal favorite of mine. Closed the evening with in-room dessert that was a perfect 10/10. Another night we ate at Limon, and my jaw is still on the floor. Don’t miss the fresh bread with butter and roasted garlic — life-changing. I toured the property and was blown away by the grounds; pristine, lush, and beautifully designed. And I had the best massage of my life (not exaggerating, it was that good). The staff was beyond kind and welcoming. Every interaction felt genuine, like being welcomed home. The resort is remote in the most perfect way: ideal for a true unplug-and-unwind escape. And truly ... you won’t find a better beach anywhere in Mexico.

This new-ish resort is lovely but really misses the mark in several key areas. First, the positives. The staff are all really lovely and welcoming. The restaurants are tasty- especially the ceviche bar by the pool. The rooms are spacious and beautiful with relaxing beds and great patios. All that said, as others have mentioned, this resort is far removed from anything of interest. Honestly, why is it even there? We landed at night and would not recommend it. The drive feels fundamentally unsafe in the dark. Yes, the ocean is swimmable, unlike many other areas around Cabo, but it’s not inviting so no one goes in. The climate is harsh (very hot and very windy) but they chose landscaping that provides no shade or protection from the elements. You’re almost always exposed and baking. On that note, the ground floor rooms (which we started in) have great plunge pools but have no privacy around them from either the rooms next to you or the pathways walking by. The pools, again, are so exposed few people got in them. Most resorts in Cabo have swim up bars or infinity edges or something of interest. One of the easiest things they could change about the grounds is signage. There is no signage for the water taxis, the gym, the ocean, you’re constantly wandering around guessing where all these things are. It’s very strange. We didn’t have an unpleasant experience but, not to belabor the point, but why is this place here and why did they make the weird decisions they made? They’re a dozen resorts equally or much nicer and quite a bit easier to get to in Cabo. Why would we come back?

If you like paying through the nose to vacation in a construction zone, this is your place. Based on what I experienced, you might check back in 5+ years. I’d suggest going anywhere else. Disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have been to Cabo many times for family vacation the week of Easter. We usually stay at the Montage but wanted to try something new. The Four Seasons shines in their rooms, food, and the gym. Everything is else is just missing that extra something that we expect a resort of this caliber and price. The service seemed to be lacking. For example, we did not get a tour of the property when we checked in. We were unable to check in into either room until 4pm and then the keys were not delivered to the second room until I called to ask again. Rooms not cleaned until 3:30-4pm every day, right when you would want to come back from the pool or beach. We also bought a golf package, that included free golf, drinks and food for one person during the trip. The pro shop refused to honor this for my husband until I produce the email that clearly stated what was included. In general, the staff at the golf course was just unfriendly. We much prefer golfing at Twin Dolphin. My son also was food poisoned on the trip, likely due to fresh squeezed grapefruit juice at Gingers that was kept too long in a refrigerator (its unpasteurized and should be thrown out each day). Lastly, I feel that this resort is missing a vibe. The marina is just a stagnant body of water with skin loaders around it and one or two buildings that houses Mozza. The resort seems very sterile with no flowers or beauty to it. I felt like we were at the soft opening of a resort with nothing else around it. Maybe in five years it will be bustling with more of an atmosphere but to me it seemed very manufactured and sterile. We will stick to the Montage or Chileano Bay in the future.

We had an amazing 6-day stay at Four Seasons Costa Palmas with our 9- and 6-year-old kids. The place is super charming with beautiful landscaping and an awesome beach. You have to see the sunrise over the ocean - it’s breathtaking! The family pool area was a blast, and our kids had a great time at the kids’ club, especially with the friendly staff like Isabel. The food was delicious in all the restaurants, but Limon was our favorite. And the vegan options there were fantastic! But what really made the trip unforgettable was the amazing staff. They were so friendly and helpful, and they always went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Special shout out to Cynthia at the Milos restaurant, who took care of us every morning at the lavish breakfast buffet, and even remembered our orders! Also to Mauricio (the bar manager) who held very enjoyable and informative tequila and mezcal tasting sessions. He even arranged tasting salt samples for us to take home. Antonio helped our little one with a urgent chocolate milkshake shake need, and Julio from our barista class was super friendly. The staff really paid attention to every little detail, and we felt like we were in the lap of luxury. We’ll definitely be back!
