Orchid House Baja

After some thinking, I deleted my previous review. Rereading it I felt it to be unfair. This being my first stay at an upscale resort I put that into perspective. The review was given as compared to places I’ve stayed before. Where there’s a loud party crowd with no care for other guests, the bartenders joining in with the crowd, loud conversations, music blasting, dancing, kids, etc. The stay here does not include that type of vibe. Guests come to relax, enjoy intimate dinners, a stroll on the beach, sunsets by the pool, the gorgeous views, etc. It’s a perfect place for couples, honeymoons, weddings, or to just relax from the everyday work hustle. The place is gorgeous. The staff are very professional and do not engage in chit chat unless a guest initiates the conversation. They respect your privacy. At the pool area you are routinely checked on and asked if there is anything needed. They deliver gourmet dishes, drinks, towels. They even went out of their way to purchase suntan lotion for one of the guests and delivered to them on the beach. I pay as I go so That way at check out I don’t have to settle my account. Have pesos instead of US cash. Way easier. The language barrier is non existent as my Spanish is as good as their English and we understood each other. Uber was $8 US to town. There really is no need to go to town as the Orchid is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our transportation to and from airport was convenient as the Orchid arranged it. Contact them directly ask about options. Keep in mind nothing is perfect so the tiny imperfections are outweighed by the First Class Treatment this place provides! I wish to return. Michelle

The staff is very attentive but not friendly. Don’t expect any smiles from any of them except Vanessa. They come across very rude and I just wanted to avoid them all together The place is beautiful. It’s nice away from town. The beach is beautiful but the tiny jellyfish like to bite so I stayed by the pool. I won’t return due to the poor experience with the staff

Amazing hotel in La Paz, Baja California. Would definitely come back. The sunsets in this property are just breathtaking, definitely recommend this hotel for honeymoons or just romantic getaways with your significant other. Thank you so much for everything!

Don't stay here. The only good thing are servers by the pool I would never stay here again. BTW they are being sued for opening the beach club without permits. So the beach club is completely shut down. Terrible welcome by the staff. Oh and the managers sits outside like an office and do their phone calls out loud you can hear them by the pool! The food was Terrible too!!!

Beautiful beautiful! I’ve been to La Paz many times, but I decided to stay away from the Malecón due to heavy noise. I loved the stay here. I found it very conveniently close the beaches like tecolote or Balandra(17-min drive) and close to the Malecón (7-10min drive) Orchid house offers a nice pool overseeing the beautiful ocean and Amazing sunsets! They offer good food and drinks by the pool bar. You have access to a very nice beach named El Caimancito. Staff is nice and friendly and always available to your needs. I slept very well A/C working,good showers, and comfy bed. If you rent a car then you are close to a lot of hot spots. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you 😊

Staff was incredibly helpful!! Views and location are breathtaking!! The facilities are clean and well taking care, we called maintenance and they approached right away!! And of course food has a unique touch! We’re are planning to go back soon! !
