Wellness Facilities: The wellness facilities, including the pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and massage services, are well-received, especially for their tranquil setting and maintenance.

This is an interesting 4 star hotel on top of a small hill of a little town. Upon arrival it has a large enough carpark for you to find a spot. Inside the hotel looks nice but hot. Unfortunately it has no air conditioned through the hotel. Even their bar and dining area have no air conditioned. Is not just the heat but the flies hovering around you. We’d the Olive suite which is upstairs (no lift) so be prepared to carry your suitcase up. Luckily, Camille the receptionist is a very strong lady. She carried my luggage up - thank you very much! Our room has a nice layout and fantastic balcony area which we use it to dry our clothes (super fast). Lovely views from living area and bedroom. Bed is comfortable but the pillows are not that comfortable. They have a small little fridge for you to put a bottle of wine and some things if you need. It has a swimming pool which is not able to do laps but enough to swim just a little or to cool down and a nice warm Jacuzzi beside it. Steam room only functioned between 3-7pm. We hike daily as you can find some hiking trails around the area or drive out 20-35min. away. If you plan to leave early morning like we do before the heat gets to you, please do get the CODE to get out if you are driving as there’s a gate. We didn’t know where to find the code on day 1 and it was written right at the card key slot in the room but because of our pathetic eyesight and in the early morning when we were frantic and fraustrated, we got no help as there was no one in this hotel between 5am-7am. Staff are typical French not smiley but they are helpful so long you ask. One of the lady was kind to let us order some small bites to be served at 4pm as their dinner starts at 7pm which is too late for us. We had a great time at their dining area at 4pm though no air conditioned but it was surprisingly very pleasant that day with no flies. Wine by the bottle is also good enough and reasonably priced. Breakfast was great! No omelette/Crepe made to order but plenty to eat. Considering a 4 star hotel, it has quality fruits and lots of nice pastry! Is quite a remote area such that you can’t find a nice restaurant within 30min. drive. There is a small town just 10min. walk but they are again filled with flies all over your food. There is a small supermarket that has enough things if you need some food or wine. A small petrol kiosk that accepts credit card easily. 2 cafes that open early morning by 9am and they serve ice cream too. Other than that, there’s nothing much really. This is the nicest hotel you can find in this area.

Unfortunately stayed only for 1 night, wished we had stayed longer. Small motel, beautiful panoramic views over the countryside. Rooms well equipped, very nice pool and hot tub and steam room, beautiful sun decks everywhere. Dinner was one of the best we had in France, great al fresco breakfast. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great base to explore Gorge du Verdon.

Rooms are tiny, renovated in a hurry with cheap furnishing/equipment (glasses are from Ikea). We had to store our luggage in the car as one large-ish suitcase would block the hallway passage for even one person as you will see in the attached pictures. At breakfast, frozen pastries are served (one day they were still frozen in the middle) and the quality of the cold cuts is poor. The breakfast was exactly the same every day (no variation) for our entire stay (3 nights). Service (at the reception) is indifferent and room cleaning inconsistent (one day they forgot adding a water bottle, another day, a towel and the cleaning face wipes and by the third day, we run out of soap- the bottles were far from full when we arrived). On the day we were not given water, I tried to refill my (really small) bottle at the tap at the reception (with flavoured water). A gentleman promptly took my bottle, emptied it and refilled it with tap water saying I am not allowed to fill it there. I did not argue and went in the village to buy water. The spa area is equally tiny and we shared it with a very noisy group of young people on the only day we used it. They were running, laughing and jumping in the pool, splashing water all over. The whole spa experience was completely ruined for us by the yelling group. The staff (completely indifferent) did not care about the comfort of the other guests and did not intervene. The hammam fits about 4 people comfortably and has a very restrictive schedule (3-7 p.m). The positive thing is the hotel’s location, cleanliness and the nice views. On the small balcony, our room had the noise and the smell from the kitchen as it was immediately next to it. The only person who was genuinely friendly was the gentleman serving the breakfast; unfortunately he could not compensate by himself for the rest. The price is huge for the poor quality offered, the service is borderline hostile and I still have blue spots on my leg as I hit myself against the furniture trying to make space for my partner to pass. Will not return and recommend everyone to avoid it.

An absolutely fantastic hotel in a corner of France that generally lacks luxury accommodations. Could easily be a Relais & Chateau. Wonderfully pleasant service, excellent food. Altogether great experience in an absolutely stunning setting.

Dedpite its perfect location, I can't give high grade to the hotel. We have arrived in a intensive rain storm. It was very difficult finding the hotel. There were no instructions how to arrive the hotel. No signs. hotel address was not indicated on our GPS unit. We had to stop in another hotel & ask for arrival instructions. Nobody helpled us of unloading & carying our bags to the room which was under a rain storm. We were told that we were upgraded. The room is standard, but sufficient with all required ammenities. It was raining all over the period we were staying so we could'nt use the terrace to see the astonished view outside the room. We were surprided to find ants in the room. The lady in the reception told us it is "normal" for the hotel location. The breakfast was very good with a lot of products. We asked for more vegs and have received what we needed completed our satisfaction from the service. The other outdoor restaurant in the village to which we were sent for dinner was found to be bad option. Lousy food & bad atmosphere. The restaurant manager was arrogant blaming my wife being rude (because she was asking for another table taking into account that we have made reservation in the hotel restaurant long time ago, but on our arrival date, the hotel restaurant was not active). Choose another restaurant. We did not had dinner in the hotel restaurant, neither using the pool. Our overall satisfaction was good, despite all abouve faults. Price also seems reasonable.

We used *********** to find a place to stay our second night in France (after we left Nice) and while driving around le Gorges du Verdon, my 17 year old found this hotel. It was a little pricier than our other hotel choices but worth every penny. After we booked the room, I got a call from the hotel to confirm our reservation and ask if we wanted dinner reservations. We were greeted warmly when we checked in and quickly checked into our room. We were amazed by the view from our balcony and couldn't stop staring but we were late and the kitchen was closing so we went to the restaurant where we got to continue to enjoy the view. The food was excellent and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace, enjoying the lovely weather. The only thing I was disappointed by was the fact that they were fully booked the next night and couldn't accommodate it us for two nights. I didn't plan ahead so it was my own fault and how could we have known this place was so lovely. We didn't get to enjoy the pool or the spa but did do a quick hike to the local village, La Pelud sur Verdon before getting in the car to drive to Provence. As we checked out the gal asked us where we were going and when I said the town nearby, she said there had been a fire and recommended that we choose elsewhere to go so we did. Parking was easy too. Breakfast was your typical French breakfast fare but with a gorgeous view. I think this would be a great place for a destination wedding.

Très beau lieu. Au calme. Bon accueil. Nous avons passé un beau moment et le dîner était excellent sur une belle terrasse et une magnifique vue. A renouveler.

Très bel établissement ! Le restaurant a une très belle carte. Sandrine, la chef, est exceptionnelle ! Piscines chauffées, SPA, petits déjeuners copieux et délicieux. Je recommande cet hôtel 4 étoiles. Vue panoramique extraordinaire. Parking gratuit.
