Great, well-kept motel with delicious breakfast Gorgeous room with a very comfortable mattress. Friendly owners, friendly atmosphere at the common breakfast tables (I actually prefer exactly the kind of tables they had). Great breakfast every morning with fancy dishes and plenty of fruit. Flexible check-in schedule. The motel looks like a well-kept, nicely decorated house. I would have preferred to be able to lock the bathroom door from the inside. There was no misleading advertising (there was, indeed, a private bathroom). It's just that, as far as I know, any normal bathroom DOES lock from the inside to prevent its accidental opening while there is someone inside. However, ours did not. I hadn't even thought about asking in advance about such a minor detail. I shared the room with a good friend and we were both female, so it wasn't a matter of personal safety. On the other hand, the breakfasts were so great that I almost feel like coming back from Montreal to have breakfast there. May actually return in about a year.
