as it is the last evening of our 8-night stay here at UP, i am lying on this beautiful bed, writing this little hommage and getting a little sad that we have to leave in a few hours. hidden away from everything that screams 'stress', UP is like a little oasis of taste, design and friendlyness in the middle of these stunning vineyards. a spacios hideaway, yet close to the sea full of urban, modern design & quality in every detail. its your choice if you want to relax and enjoy the sun at the lovely pool, take a tasty wine or two at one of the multiple bars or lounge, read some interesting books at the sunflooded library or visit some of southfrance's hotspots by yourself. nizza, marseille, st tropez - they are all accessable by car within a little more or less than one hour. romantic serpentine drives included.  thank you for making special, relaxed and heartfelt what i value the most: my spare time ♥️ jan.

Nice relaxing break, lovely hotel in great setting. Is isolated if you don’t have a car and limited food options available especially during the daytime. The food is lovely but no menu variation during the stay so not much choice. Great wine.

Great property with wonderful amenities. We had the best time! We ate several meals on property, they were delicious. Property is adorable, we never wanted to leave.

Very modern hotel in a peaceful location. Beautiful building interiors and a great pool. Food was also really really good. While some staff were very friendly and helpful, some parts of the service were disappointing, e.g. on most mornings we weren’t offered coffee at the breakfast buffet and had to find staff to ask for coffee multiple times. There also wasn’t much consistency about when our room would be cleaned/new towels provided during the day (sometimes they came in the morning, sometimes 5-6pm, sometimes not at all). There was also some confusion over the dates/times of activities we’d booked (e.g. wine tour). It was also disappointing that the pool bar/restaurant was closed during our stay, which limited the food options.

HAS POTENTIAL BUT NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT AND SMALL INVESTMENTS. - no complementary water in the rooms - rooms extremely small and dark - extremely rude reception staff - mould around AC's in common spaces - bad stench around the hotel - hotel had an ongoing wedding which they didnt inform us about prior - the wedding was jewish and they were chanting in Hebrew late into the night keeping the other guests awake - no help with bags - dirty and disorganized poolside and service - horrible horrible breakfast offering - scrambled eggs looked like vomit

The hotel appears quaint and cute but then there were too many shocking issues. I also feel like nothing has bene properly thought about. Some of the staff (cleaners, some of the wait staff) are extremely friendly and nice, but some are the complete opposite - rude - and they would dump food on the table without saying anything then run off. Here are some of the issues: The rooms are incredibly small. I assumed, being so far outside of St Tropez, that we would have space, but that is my fault for not checking - these rooms are smaller than city hotels and the bathrooms are also extremely extremely tiny. In the bathroom the door also opens outwards and the water leaks out causing a mess. There is a stentch of sewage around the property which you get whiffs of when you walk through it. There is no shower next to the sauna, or changing room in the spa, so youd have to walk back to your room after a sweaty sauna in your clothes to have your shower. The gym is absolutely crap - no water, no clean towels, only weights and 2 cardio machines. The food is horrendous - not only is the menu extremely limited (1 vegetarian tomato pasta available at lunch and 1 vegetarian risotto which was basically butter for dinner) - but the food quality in general was bad. For breakfast - it was like the eggs had just been under the lamp for the last 4 days. Def was not fresh. Not what you expect in France. None of the staff really informed us about the wine experience/wine tours/tasting so we didnt even end up doing it - but it would have been nice maybe. We also didnt ask - but it would be nice if the staff kind of informed us generally of what we were drinking/reception told us our options for tastings etc. On the last day somebody walked into my room without knocking whilst I was in bed. I had clarified that I would have a late checkout by 1 hour (to noon) and then the reception stated calling me asking me to pay a fee for a late checkout. Obviously I had to argue becuase it was just 1 hour and I had already pre clarified it. They didnt even apologise for walking into my room unannounced. They were also extermelyw weird about giving the room keys back. They asked me 5 times! The pathways are loose gravel/stone and you have to drag your bags through them to get to the rooms from the car park. On arrival the staff did help us after we asked them but the bags then took 1 hour to get to the rooms. On the way back we just dragged through through the dirt ourselves

Paid €671 for a suite room ( double bed and sofa bed) No sofa in room when arrive, however, they provide foldout bed that broke 4x during the night and if we didn’t fix we had no extra bed. Waiting in the hotels reply. Paying €671 a night for a broken bed and no sleep ruined it all. I feel they should pay half or full refund due to the broken bed
