Nayara tented camp is a spectacular resort. The staff were so sweet and very accommodating. Our greeter, Rachel was absolutely charming and set the tone for an truly wonderful stay. The accommodations were breathtaking. We had mixology class with Jose and Josue. Their depth of knowledge was amazing and Jose made the event so much fun. Too many great things to mention. Thank you to all your staff for a memorable visit. We cannot wait to return.

We had the best week! The property is unique and stunning, my one-word takeaway from this trip is magical! This resort is absolutely on par or better than the Ritz Carlton when it comes to service. We have been blown away by the kindness and above-and-beyond service. A few notable moments: Jose at Henry’s Bar was our first friend. We will miss the nightly martinis and conversation. You should absolutely sign up for the mixology class! Melanie in reception remembered us from day one and always made sure we had what we needed. Raquel and Daniel in the Asia Luna restaurant (our favorite!). All of the restaurants took great care in making sure I had gluten free options. At Asia Luna it felt like they welcomed this challenge. I rarely get to enjoy such delicious Asian dishes-including sushi. If you have celiac, don’t worry. They made it so easy. Alonso our guide and Ronnie our driver for an all day hike to the mystic hanging bridges snd Fortuna Waterfall were so great at making sure we saw so many plants and animals synonymous with Costa Rica. We learned so much, got truly fantastic photos, and made two new friends! The resort staff found out that my husband and I are about to be grandparents for the first time - to twins no less. In our room was the sweetest note and gift of to ‘twin’ sloths. Did I get a little teary? Yes. It was truly unexpected but demonstrates so perfectly how this resort listens to their guests, cares, and works to make every experience memorable. You won’t be disappointed here. It rains a lot because it is a rainforest. Embrace it. You’ll be sleeping in the clouds, falling asleep to gentle rains, and enjoying a sunny day by the pool. Don’t miss the hot springs. Pool hop and bar hop through the resort. The spa is amazing. Go. Book it.

This was one of the finest resort experiences my wife and I have ever had. We have incredibly high standards and have been to many 5 star resorts that have underwhelmed us. Nayara was one of the few that far exceeded our expectations. First, the property is beautiful, lush and authentic. To believe that they replanted everything on site just 8-9 years ago is astonishing. Second, our room was one of the best rooms we ever stayed in. The views of the volcano were spectacular. The hot spring plunge pool was a treasure. And the showers (one indoor and one outdoor) were amazing--great water pressure. Breakfast was varied depending on which restaurant you went to. The food at the Asian restaurant was outstanding. Lastly, the staff were pleasant, helpful, attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered was joyful and happy to help you regardless of what their day-to-day role was. Oh, and go to the hot springs on property for a treat as well. See some pics for an idea but note that the photos do not do this place justice at all!

We were blown away by our stay at Tented Camp. This was our last stop on our honeymoon trip to Costa Rica, and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is incredible — from the cart drivers to the servers to the bartenders, everyone we spoke with was friendly and attentive. We felt like our every need was considered and taken care of, and we’d just never experienced something quite like that before. The food was also fantastic. We tried almost every restaurant, and we had wonderful meals and drinks at each one. The fine dining experience at Amor Loco was so special for our last evening, the fish shawarma at Ayla is a must-order, the cacio e pepe experience at Mis Amores was both fun and delicious, and we had a great time chatting with the bartender at Henry’s Bar and experiencing their unique martinis. The espresso bar is also a nice play to visit and enjoy some coffee on a rainy afternoon. It was also so lovely to have breakfast on our deck in the morning, and our rooms were kept amazingly clean and cared for. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, although we hope to be able to come back one day to celebrate an anniversary!

We stayed at Nayara Tented Camp for part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely incredible. Check-in process: We were greeted at the welcome tent and escorted via golf cart to the main reception area where our concierge, Laura, gave us our welcome cocktail and walked us through check-in. She was extremely friendly and helpful with making recommendations and reservations throughout our stay. Property / Amenities: The grounds at Nayara are absolutely incredible. It has by far the most lush grounds of any hotel we've ever stayed at, and you truly feel immersed in the Costa Rican jungle. The addition of orchids throughout the property makes it extra beautiful. We loved how connected we felt to nature while walking all of the pathways and bridges as we made our way between pools, hot springs, and restaurants. While the Tented Camp has its own pool, restaurant, and bar - you still have access to all of the amenities at Springs and Gardens so we always had some new spot to explore which kept our trip fun. In my opinion, the pool and pool bar at Tented Camp are the most luxurious as you truly feel like you're swimming amongst jungle/wildlife. We saw monkeys hanging from the trees as we swam! We also took advantage of the included activities like evening frogwatching and the shuttle to the farmer's market in the town of La Fortuna which were both highlights of our trip. Room: We stayed in Titi 15 which had a PERFECT view of Mount Arenal - truly incredible. The rooms were extremely spacious, clean, and well thought out. We opted to have breakfast delivered to our room each day (it's included!) and they set it up beautifully on our patio. The hammock was very comfortable and the heated pool is non-chlorinated which we enjoyed. We also took advantage of the outdoor shower everyday. I am usually someone who can get grossed out by hotel rooms after a few nights but I could have stayed in this room forever. They also provide a free laundry service, picking up your laundry at the time of morning housekeeping and leaving it in your room with turn-down service. Staff: All, and I mean ALL of the staff at Nayara are incredible. They are some of the friendliest, most sociable and attentive staff we've experienced at a hotel. Some we specifically remember - concierge Laura who has a big smile everyday and was very helpful throughout our stay; Fauricio who delivered breakfast and took the time to write down some of his favorite spots near Arenal; Josue at Henry's Bar who was very personable and made excellent drinks (even making my non-alcoholic Shirley Temple look beautiful!); and Noel, Henry, and last name Rodriguez all who made our time at the pool bar really fun! I am certain we will stay here again if we have the opportunity to return to Costa Rica. It is one of the rare hotels of the world that is worth returning to!

I stayed at Nayara Tented Camps with my husband for our honeymoon. This luxury hotel is a once in a lifetime. There’s nothing that compares to the beauty of the volcano views, food from all the restaurants on site, buffet breakfast, or lovely service from the staff. Nayara had everything we needed with a special thanks to Allan and Christian at the front desk, the awesome bartender Jose (who served us welcome and departure drinks) and Wendy our amazing housekeeper. We loved happy hour at the pool and the wine bar tasting experience. Nayara is originally what attracted us to Costa Rica and we can’t say enough good things. We’ll certainly be back in the future!!

This hotel has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, hands down. The property is stunning and the food was incredible, but the customer service was outstanding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff was attentive and willing to go above and beyond. Special shoutout to Jess, our guest liaison, who made this trip so special for us, and to Issac who handled our transportation. We can’t wait to go back.

We loved Costa Rica and Nayara Tented camp was the cherry on the cake. The resort is beautiful, the suites are anmazing and luxurious and the without exception all staff were so friendly and attentive. Food, especially breakfast was awesome. Really can’t fault this place. We even saw a sloth right outside our property. It’s very expensive but worth it. TIP Don’t miss the free frog tour.
