Kovay Gardens

Went to see condos, listen to resort perks, and learn about fractional ownership. All was well with presentation until we decided against ownership. That’s when manager Dawn turned on us like a pit bull on a kitten. No need for that. My wife is a peaceful person, but has walked the most dangerous slums in Manila, but after being called stupid, she wanted to whoop Dawns but all the way back to La Puente. Read later it all was a scam, but have no actual proof of that. We spent hours though hearing the pitch, then this sudden attitude, and they then accused us of wasting their time, when in fact, we wasted a half of day and felt trapped there.

This is a difficult review to write because there are2 distinct issues here. 1. The facility has lovely gardens, great staff, and is very quiet. The pool went from Unheated all the way to bathtub temperature. The food was fine but nothing available before 8 (coffee is in the room) for breakfast didn’t meet our needs. The was an egg and omelet station but breads were very limited. There is only one restaurant and only one bar and it closes at 7. There are many room configurations available but who builds on the ocean without a balcony? The studio rooms have no balcony. The rooms are nicely decorated and the entire place is very clean. 2. We were invited here to attend a presentation to purchase fractional ownership. The sales people are very good at what they do - convince you that this is a good deal for you. The man who did the presentation was knowledgeable and pleasant BUT the “boss” was rude and very, very entitled! He made our decision easy! NO! We talked to a few people who have purchased and seem to be happy with what they have but we did hear some comments that they couldn’t get the time they wanted. We met others who rented through AirBnB or other owner rental options.

We are four girls from Belgrade who flew to Rome, Mexico City, and PVR. We loved Kovay Gardens the most. Out of all the resorts and hotels, this was the most relaxing. It was a long flight, but we got to visit Mexico. The staff was excellent, telling us what to see and explore. We love their beach.

Nicest hotel, truly lives up to its name. A very charming boutique hotel with lots of gardens, beachside seating and lounge chairs along the beautiful Bay of Banderas. I really enjoyed the Nighttime views of Vallarta from my patio. They are stunning!

Scam. Cheated me out of $3500. They are total scam artists. They promise you everything and basically deliver nothing. Stay away. I'm in arbitration with my credit card company over the charges. Nothing they told me was true. Avoid KovayStay away.

This is a special place that is not a mega resort with so many people. The resort is well maintained and has the nicest gardens. The rest and relaxation was the best part this is and oasis. The restaurant n site had the really fresh seafood and the staff are very friendly. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this resort to all whoa re looking for an escape from the 1000 plus room resort that seem to less personal.

This is an absolute terrible place. They took advantage of my parents. They have lied to my parents over the past year. Continuously stating that they would make it right. But each time, just more lies. This is a scam. Please google before you visit or talk with them. We are not the only family taken advantage of.

We went there for the first time and found it very quaint, unlike many of the others we stayed at. The service was good, and it was a very relaxing stay. I would recommend this resort for Vallarta, as many have gotten too big and crowded. I would go back again.

Nice place and nice staff but beware the sales program. Full of false promises. We lost a fortune on it. Never once marketed for us. Emails and calls ignored after we got home and US Embassy cannot help us seeking justice. Our contract is being ignored by the resort.
