What an infuriating and disappointing experience I had here this week. I've stayed many times over the last few years. Always fine. Not great, but plenty good enough. Until TODAY. Pulled in last night about 6pm and parked in the front lot that has signage about only hotel guests allowed to park, etc. All good. Checked in. Walked to dinner and then eventually back for the night. Worked in the room this morning and checked out a little after 11am. Walked out to my vehicle and put my bag in it, and then walked about 1 minute away for lunch. Came back less than an hour later...and they had had my vehicle TOWED! Unreal. Went in and asked the EXACT girl who had checked me out an hour or so before. Whaaaaa??!! Some guy comes out and then goes back in the office and comes back and tells me ”oh, you left the lot and came back”. NO I did not! H literally LIED to my face about that. Never left after pulling in the night before. Unreal. No help. No calling the tow company and saying ”We made a mistake. Please release this vehicle”. NOTHING. Plus, he said ”have a nice day” sarcastically as I was walking out. Incredible. Lost my temper and left. Called the tow company and explained the RIDICULOUS situation. They sent someone for me (since the were three miles away) and actually reduced the tow price by $100...and it was STILL $175.00! Which is also ridiculous that a tow and storage for about an hour would normally be $275! Either way...obviously I will NEVER stay here again. Ever. My company has had folks stay here a few nights a month for years. Never again. So unacceptable. If I could give the level of service a zero I would. SO not recommended.

This is a good place to go for long-term stays. I was there for eight weeks due to work. I like that it was nice and quiet. The rooms are large with a cooktop stove and a full-size refrigerator. I think it would be even more excellent if the long-term people had their own private parking space! I also found that the bathtub is extremely slippery, probably due to having soft water, so be careful! I think that the rates are comparable to other hotels that don’t offer as much in the rooms. I would go back there.

Jen and her team provided exceptional service for our wedding weekend. Leading up to the weekend, Jen was responsive to changes, kind, and willing to help however she could. The bridal suite was spacious, had beautiful views of the river, and worked wonderfully for getting bridal hair and makeup done the day of the wedding. We hosted an outdoor bonfire gathering as guests came in the night before the wedding, and the team at the Radisson was friendly and attentive to our guests' needs. The morning after, it was a great location for guests to grab coffee and hang out before leaving for the weekend. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for wedding blocks, as it is in an ideal location with several gorgeous wedding venues nearby, has a phenomenal staff team, and is all-around a wonderful hotel environment. A huge thank you to Jen and the team at the Radisson!

We stayed here one Monday night in late April, basically passing passing through. The area appears to be the cultural center and felt very empty with most dining places closed Mon & Tues (not a bad thing, just a bit eerie). The approximately half riverwalk & garden area north of the hotel was interesting & well worth 30-40 minutes of time. Saw several chubby woodchucks along the way! The hotel remo was very classy, everything exceptionally clean, classy, and new; staff very friendly. Our room and beds were comfortable & quiet, likewise the pool and fitness room. The only downside we encountered is that there was no place within several blocks to get dinner or breakfast aside from the hotel ”Bistro” on the 1st floor. It offers tables with waterview as well as some interesting comfy looking ”privacy” booths. Their menu was quite limited and on the ”light” side while the prices were relatively reasonable for a ”captive” eatery and we were able to get what we needed. I suspect is probably not an issue during peak season & weekends. We would stay here again if in La Crosse.
