I recently stayed at Hotel Alda Orzan in A Coruña and was thoroughly pleased with my experience. The hotel’s location on Rua Sol is excellent, placing you within walking distance of Orzán Beach, the city promenade, and many key attractions.
My room was comfortable and clean, offering all the essential amenities. I was lucky to get a room facing the interior courtyard as a couple of guests mentioned during breakfast that the noise from the Lolita Bar across the street was really loud and kept them up.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, enhancing my overall experience. The breakfast was basic but satisfying, providing a good start to the day. I recommend Hotel Alda Orzan for its great service and location but make sure to ask for an inside room and not one facing the street.

A key tip if you're arriving by car is to absolutely ensure you request a parking space when booking, as securing a spot otherwise might mean searching for street parking or alternative lots nearby. Location-wise, the hotel is excellently situated, providing easy access to the heart of the city center. We found the hotel to be consistently clean throughout, and the staff were notably helpful and accommodating during our stay. A simple but satisfying breakfast was available, highlighted by the option to request excellent Spanish-style coffees made fresh, which was a lovely touch. Our room itself was both spacious and clean, offering ample room to relax, and we appreciated that the windows could be opened to allow for fresh air, adding to the comfort.

Good value for money however the rooms are tiny, and two people cannot move around at the same time! We had a room with a balcony which was very sweet, however we were on the street side of the building and the noise from the club opposite was not my idea of fun till gone 4 in the morning. Then the seagulls took over and started squawking at first light . Earplugs were necessary. Breakfast was included but I couldn't eat any of it - fortunately there is a great bar opposite Puerta del Sol that served the most delicious fresh tortilla and seemed to be open all the time.

Room overlooking an inner courtyard with a ruined house that is home to hundreds of pigeons, with the dirt and noise that this implies. It has no air conditioning, so in summer the window has to be open. Rooms with paper thin walls, you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. Very good location, perfect for sightseeing or for bars and dinner.

In La Coruña angekommen wollten wir ein Hotel in Strandnähe. Es ist sauber, hat in der Nähe eine Parkmöglichkeit in einem Parkhaus, wo es über das Hotel einen Rabatt gibt. Leider war uns beim Buchen nicht bewusst, dass es gegenüber der Lolita-Bar liegt. Diese öffnet, wenn der normale Hotelbesucher ins Bett geht und sorgt für Lärm und Streitigkeiten unter Jugendlichen. An Schlafen war erst zu denken, als die Bar in den frühen Morgenstunden geschlossen wurde. Nicht noch einmal.

Habitación acogedora, limpia y totalmente renovada. El colchón muy cómodo. La atención en la recepción ha sido excelente. Situado muy céntrico, se puede llegar a pie en pocos minutos a la mayoría de puntos de interés d la ciudad. Rodeado de tiendas, cafeterías y restaurantes de todo tipo.

La habitación está bastante bien y centrico. Eso si, en pleno diciembre hemos tenido que dormir con la ventana abierta de par en par y con la consecuencia de que la calle de enfrente es una calle de ocio nocturno, es decir, mucho ruido. Pero es que el radiador ni apagandolo a media noche se respiraba en la habitación de calor y falta de oxigeno. Eso deberían mirarlo. Por lo demás correcto.
